I homeschool my daughter usually during the same calender as or local school's,so that she can go out and play. But,we done some makeup work and to keep her brain alive.I just don't want her to be brain dead in September.I know some people that homeschool all year and some that don't.What is your homeschool calender like?

We typically school through the summer as well, but I have a fairly relaxed schooling schedule. My children still have plenty of time to get outside and run and play, but still get their schoolwork done.
With this year I know we will be working over the summer, as my daugther was a late starter and we are working on catching her up some.
I don't know if my 4 year old would let me stop school over the summer, he begs to do it.

Hi there D Follin!
I don't formally homeschool but we study even in summer vacation. We practice reading at least twice a week and we do alot of coloring, writing, and math stuff.
