My Beloved was involved in a hit and run accident today where a cab driver in New York just rammed into him and cornered him and knocked him off his bike on purpose..The bike is now a right off but he is o.k..THAT IS THE MAIN THING.I WAS A BIT SHAKEN WHEN HE EMAILED ME FROM HIS JOB TO TELL ME..as hours had passed without receiving the usual little love mail from him telling me he had arrived safely at his work. I just prayed and said Thank you God he is alive and well..and was grateful for that despite I am premenstrual and it should have made me feel crappier than usual.I felt I had to be strong and positive for him..so being positive I carried on keeping busy here and working and to my pleasant surprise one of my Good friends here and business partners decided to join my own investment company Jem Invest and that made me feel good to be alive and doing something useful and has given me the strength to do a few more hours work tonight even though I am tired. Have you had days like this where you just fight on regardless?
Please pray for us, we need it..Thank you..

Well, I hope somebody got that cab driver's license plate number. How callous was that, just ramming into your hubby on purpose? Why ever did he do that? He should have his license taken from him and lose his job, if you ask me.
Secondly, congratulations on your friend and business partner joining your investment company. That was a nice surprise to cheer you on a dull day, huh?
I have had days like that, but once over, they're soon forgotten. I will certainly lend a prayer and send healing energies to your hubby and success energies for your investment company.
Brightest Blessings.

I think the fact that you live so far apart that it is even more frustrating, you can't go to him and give him a big hug and nurse him and give him extra tlc! I was deeply saddened about the news my friend and send you extra hugs and karma, you know where I am if you need any extra support. And I'm thrilled to bits to be part of your investment, I think we support each other and you have definitely given me something to work for and to keep my mind off my own troubles which I am greatly thankful for. Thanks again sis x

Oh my oh my. I certainly hope all is ok. You really have to be careful of those NY drivers.
Days like that can be very hard on you, emotionally and physically. But when it's all over you can look back and be proud that you made it through.

I am glad your husband is okay. It could have been much worse. Sometimes its better to keep busy when things aren't going so well. I have had days like that before. Just keep up the positive attitude and you'll make it through.

Thank God he is okay...what a horrible ordeal..It must have been so scary for him at that moment. We never know when we walk out of the house and off to work what God has in store for us that day...thankfully he was watching over your loved one...I hope you both have a restful night and a much less anxious weekend!! You are in my prayers!!!

Thank God he is okay. Those cab drivers are crazy. I was in New York this winter with some friends and we took a cab to a favorite restaurant. The cab driver scared the life out of all of us the way they drive. From now on I am taking my chances with the subway. My prayers for a full recovery.

I live maybe like 50 miles away from New York City, & I would be afraid of driving there - EVEN IN AN ARMY-ISSUE TANK. Drivers seem to lose their sanity there. Anyway, on a bike? He is lucky to be alive, never mind just a bit shaken. If he got the license number of that cab that hit him, he should notify the police & report it. That cab driver should be charged not only with leaving the scene of an accident, but probably attempted murder (being that he used a vehicle for this.)
He should also pay for a new bike, & even punitive damages.

dear yanji, i am glad that everything is okay. its your love, strength and persistence that bring him all the blessings. i truly feel, when you love someone so earnestly, it requires real guts to beat it!1 and i am sure you will win through thick and thin.
yeah, some days are crappy and disbalancedand i just cannot help feeling that time and God is bnot with me anymore. but the very next day when i see the sun shining and smiling on me with all good things happening, i get negated. trust me, these are the times i am happy being negated. lol..

wow, that is crazy. i am just glad that he is ok. i am from NY and i know how crazy those damn cab drivers can be. things like this happen every single day. they think that they owned the streets and drive as if there is no one else there. good to know that all is well

May the best wishes go out to both you and your husband in what is utterly a difficult and stressful situation. I hope all is well that he makes a full recover so that you both can get on with your life. Its unbelieveable they way some people are these days, and purposely cornering a bike is just crazy. I can't believe some people just don't have the patience to let a bike go through rather than just trying to overtake and hence leads to many accidents and problems. I do hope though that the cab driver gets punished in some. Do you know if anything has happen with regards to the driver? Have you made a complaint to the cab company at worst?

I'm glad to hear your hubby's ok. I'm sure you're jumping for joy. Yes, I have many days that I fight on regardless. Seriously, I feel likedepression is my middle name, and quite often, it takes all my willpower just to get out of bed. Yesterday evening was a really bad time for me, and then when I had to go in to work this morning, I felt like I was marching in to war. Take care!
