i like watching tv only when there's a good show on BBC or Ellen on Star.other than that,it's not worth watching tv.internet's worth more than tv these days

thanks for yor comment. yes you are true internet worth more than tv these days. it is because of its multi purpose use. not only for chatting web surfing and of course earning money. this is a good way for house wifes and student.but i think internet cause lonliness . its mean just you and screen. tv is use only for watching but it means you and yor family .

I am more interested in internet compared to TV as I can communicate with near and dear ones through chat, instant messenger, emails through internet. Then i can also find employment opportunities on the web, find various courses to imrpove one skills, then i can have blast on mylot site by posting and commenting on discussions and get few bucks too. Also i like to surf lot of sites, interact with old friends and make new friends on net. besides one can do blogging and make squidoo lens on net which is not possible by watching tv though i do watch some musical and comedy shows on tv.

thankyou for your responce. yes internet is multipurpose. we can use it for various purpose. its easy to chat and of course for earn money.we can in touch with old friends and do a lot more things. but i think it cause loneliness also.we cant get much time for family members .we can enjoy with family members while watching tv and spent time with them. which we really miss during using internet.

thanks for responces. i got many responces to this discussion. i think seven to eight. quite interesting topic . but every one is preffered internet. just one of my friend choose for t v .i too prefer inter net but i think t v is good as it provide time to spent with family members. as there iis little time we are getting to spent with our family. due to tough and busy life style.thats it.

it is worth working on the net. while working i will listening to music. so i'm utilizing the time. i rarely watch tv, because i dont like watching tv.

both are fun.. when they are my fav show in tv, i need to watch it.. sometimes too much surfing internet, can be boring to me too..

My life has changed like yours and I feel exactly the way you do. I just love the internet because I decide what is happening on the screen. I really have an influence on this and TV just gives me the options to change stations if I do not like the program or to turn the TV off. Now that I use the internet a lot I listen more to the radio again.
You are right, internet is lonelier than TV. Internet is just me and the screen and it excludes other people.

yes youare right my life change completly .i amnot wasting my time in another activities after getting in touch with internet.the olnly thing i miss while using inter net is spending time with my family . while watching a movie or aprogramme .we just enjoy alot .although i am still spending my time by watching my favourite prigramme. but it is just two to three hours per week while i am speding time on internet three to four hours daily.

I like internet for myself only, i prefer TV so that i can bond with my family. We do watch DVD together, it helps to strengthen the relationship and also its much happier spending time with them. =)

i watch a little tv with my family when they are watching something i dont like i play with the computer and then i watch some more tv when something comes on that we all like then i am on here when they go to sleep sometimes when i am up before them i jump on here for a little bit under an hour
