Men and Cartoons

My boyfriend kind of likes cartoons, especially Tom and Jerry. I wouldn't say it's just a guy thing though. I love cartoons! Lol.

I am a 65 year old female and I love the cartoons , I love disney films , I have watched Shrek 1 and 2 I loved happy feet too , I think there is still a child in all of us , some more than others lol , I prefer that type of thing to all the horror S*x and violence any day welcome to MY Lot have fun , I do xx

i like to watch cartoons when i was a child and i seldom watch cartoons now, but whenever i watch cartoons i would have thought of my childhood life and i feel younger than ever, that's the reason why i watch cartoons sometimes. it made me think of lot of things happened in my childhood.

I know a lot of adults, male and female, that watch cartoons. My husband and I watch them all the time, and did so even before we had a child. In fact, more often than not if our television is on there are cartoons on it. Many of them are quite entertaining, and there are even some that are more interesting for adults than for children. I think it's silly that people are expected to give up watching things they enjoy just because they reach a certain age. Often things that were fun in one way as a child can be fun in different ways as an adult. For example, my husband and I are both fans of the original Transformers cartoon from the 80's. When we watch it now on DVD, part of our amusement with it is nostalgia, part the fact that the storylines are interesting, and part the sometimes bad coloring issues. =p

Haha that sounds sort of like my dad. He's also in his fifties and is amused by cartoons. I think my husband also likes cartoons still and he's in his thirties. None of the women I know really watch them much though,so maybe it's a guy thing. lol

My Stepdad is 62 and he still loves the roadrunner and Tom and Jerry which I really don't care for after years of being forced to watch them. I really don't know why he watches them either and it's only those two cartoons no others.
