Do you mind the height of the person who you are going to date?

Frankly, I do pay attention to it. I always prefer I date with a man who is at least taller than me 15cm. I don't know why, maybe it makes me feel security. If we have similar height or he is just taller than me a little, then it's hard for me to attach to him like a bird:)
There is only one exception. I ever loved someone who was not taller than me very much. At that time I always tried to wear sneakers and I still thought we almost had the same height. I didn't wear shoes with heels at all. I just felt a little bit regret for his height, but I loved him anyway.
Now I don't have this problem any more. My husband is taller than me a lot and I can wear any shoes I like:)

It's never really bothered me. I am 5ft 8ins, which means if I wear heels of 2 or 3ins, I am taller than a lot of men, and it really never enters my head. I guess some men may not like their women being taller than them, but I always think that is somewhat a psychological "problem" with the man, - because they are not secure in their own masculinity, and therefore feel "inferior" if their woman is taller than them. My partner is exactly the same height as me - sometimes I wear heels, other times I don't, but he never has issues about it.

Well to be honest my height is fairly average for Northern Europe - in fact when I am in Sweden or Germany for example, I am shorter than most women!!!!

I am short, only 5 feet tall, so most men are taller than me, however I wouldn't want a man so tall that he towered over me. My husband is 5' 4" tall, so it's just right.
Before my husband met me however, he always had a problem finding women smaller than him, he prefers smaller women. So we are perfect for each other.

Surely height plays an imp role if the guy is short then its going to cause hell lot of problems just like you shared one of them. Plus its embarrassing in the crowd that he is short and you are tall - kind of uncomfortable. Just to add one more disadvantage : - You can't do hair styles :((

I have no preference in a woman's height as that should have nothing to do with how two people feel about each other. I will go out with someone much shorter than me or much taller than me. I know one of my coworkers will not date short men as they have to be taller than her for her to go out with.

Yes, I have found that I atually like the man I'm dating to be about the same height as me or a little bit taller, but not much. I am 5 foot 3 inches tall, so short guys don't worry about your height if you are short. I feel it is more comfortable as far as kissing, hugging, etc.
Another reason I believe I am attracted to shorter men is because I was abused as a child by a tall man. I can be friends with tall men, but feel no attraction. I'm sure with short men I feel more in control.

i dont really mind the height of the guy, but for some reason the guys i have ever been interested in have been taller than me. my partner is only just taller than me not by much so as soon as i dress up for a function with high heels (like once a year maybe lol) then im taller than him but only just or even say height.

Personally, I prefer the man I date taller than me or equal in height. I´m quite small so I can´t imagine if my date smaller than me. And my husband is much taller than me.

Well i`m vertically challanged (short ) just over five two .I never considered it for a minute that height would come into it .My hubby is considerably taller than i over 6foot .However it did take me a while to realise my sore neck was infact due to the continual looking up at him but now 30yrs later everything has sorted it`s self out and i have no problems .But height as well as age should not play a part in a relationship it`s what`s in the heart that matters really .

I have never actually really thought about, it would be like age, that it wouldnt cross my mind..But thinking about it. I would more than likely want him to be taller than me, It might look a bit out of place for him to be shorter, considering that I am short myself.

I've never really worried about that sort of thing. I've dated people taller than me, shorter than me, my own height. It just doesn't affect me at all. I know a lot of people feel strongly about such things, or are bothered by them, but I just never understood it.
I have been in one relationship where the person was enough taller than me that things like kissing were awkward, and I didn't like that too much. It was suggested to me by friends that I wear high heels to solve the problem, but that's not an option for me because I'm klutzy. =p
Thankfully my current husband is just enough taller than me for it not to bother him, without being enough taller than me that it becomes a strategical problem! =)

Yes, a man must be at least 3 inches taller than me, because I love to wear heels. But I rarly have a problem, because I am pretty short.

I am very tall 5 foot 10 and I always found it hard to find men that were taller than me or same height. Most were shorter. I remember going to a dance and a drunk guy asked me to dance and he kept saying I was too tall for him. Now my guy is about my height. If I wear heels I will be way taller than him. But he doesn't seem to mind. I am like his viking goddess or something. LOL
