Ways and Tactics when working at mylot (nothing wrong, just an analysis).

I was thinking in my previous discussion that I have three ways when working here:
1.-Asking for knowledge/learning. This one is the most useful and great. I put a little introduction on a topic I am interested, and ask people to write what they have to say/add about it.
2.-Sharing my own knowledge. This is whether boring or egocentric, but it is great when people like it. I try with this kind of posts to create a reputation about what I am interested in and what are my ways of thinking, to attire people to my "1" kind of posts.
3.-Silly posts. This are what I do mainly when I am blocked or not inspired, and the target is keeping the earnings and my mylot alive. But sometimes I get interesting things from them, so it is not that silly...
So, what are your kind of posts? What do you think of this classifiance?

I don't really post a lot of topics, but when I do, it's either 1) something that is in my head at the time or 2) something going on in my life and I want to share/see others vies on the subject. I don't generally ask for knowledge, I learn from others responses to topics, etc. If it is something I am interested in, I normally research it out for myself. I love to learn. Or I will ask someone I trust about the topic. In general, alot of people claim to know things, but maybe don't. So if I truly want to know something I either research it or in my research I may discuss it with people whom I trust are giving me correct information. I think whatever works for you, is great. That's the great thing on mylot, we are all so different, yet we can come together and share with each other.

Yes, that is very great!
I actually do my personal researches and seek for trusting experts, but I like to do like a survey to see what people recommend or "claim to know" about the topics I am interested in. If I find something interesting, I then go and contrast it elsewhere :)

i think i've learned few knoledge here and all i want to do is to respond the discussions and make some money and reach my first payout, maybe because what i'm thinking is not right, i don't find any fun discussing here, so you are really a great mylotter here.

Hi Missak yes i love discussion where i can learn a lot but i also like the silly fun ones. I normally start discussion if i found something i can share with mylotters or something iam thinking at a particular time...anywa i love answering than starting my own discussions :)

I think this thread would be considered as a number two discussion, the one which you "share your own knowledge."
Thank you for sharing your information with us! But i usually find those post which asks for help or opinions about moral dilemmas more interesting and i tend to participate in them more actively and with more "heart".....
what about you? which kind of discussions do you enjoy reading and discussing in most??

Good question. I think I like to answer to the reciproqual to the points I listed. I mean, I tend to answer more to discussions like my number 1, where people ask for something I know or have something to say. I also repond to some "number 2" discussions, but generally it is more boring since all you can say is "thanks for sharing" or sometimes add your opinion... And then I answer to some "do you brush your teeth" discussions to accomplish the "number 3" posts.
Recently I have discovered some literary/poetical posts where you share and continue ideas and inspirations. I like responding to these also. I have one discussion on this line myself but it has not worked well...

I see that you have given quite a bit of thought to this subject. I have not thought so much about it, but I can tell you what comes to my mind looking at your list. 1) I do not usually ask for information, as I will be the one who will just go find out for myself. I would rather give information. I like being the helper. 2)I like to share things that I find are unusual, because if it is interesting to me, someone else will likely also find it to be interesting. 3) I seldom post randomly silly discussions. If I post silly, it is with a purpose, like the thawing turkey that started a housefire. The truth is, I do not start very many discussions, I mostly respond. I like to respond when I can help another member. That is my all time favorite response. I guess that describes my tactics as they relate to myLot.

Those sound about right for me. I don't get into the silly too much, though. I just can't think of funny or silly things! I like to respond to some of them though! I really like asking questions and seeing what I get back from around the world!

I mainly start opinion discussions. I like to find out other people's opinoins on topics. or which of two do they prefer. Well i am new so i think as time goes on i will have different tactics. I mostly like to post my answers to other people's questions.
