My pet dog died 3 hours ago. We rushed her to an animal hospital and admitted it their. The doctor sent me a message 30 minutes ago that my dog died. I really feel sad.
My dog is very nice and playful. I always play with her everytime I got home from school. It makes me happy and makes me feel relaxed. I feel like I lost someone special.
I will wake up tomorrow without someone to play with and to cuddle.

Yes, it hurts so bad. I lost my 15 year old cocker spaniel a week after my five year old shih tzu was runover by a car..i was devasted at the loss of both of my pets..Scarlett was a 15 year old Cocker spaniel/terrier mix breed we had since she was a pup..we got her from the humane society..she was a good friend..and also we had a five year old shih tzu for about 21 months..and his name was Gizmo and he was naughty but we loved his shih tzu ways..he ran out and was run over by a car..it was my fault..
Now we have a shih tzu..four years old male..called Reggie..and he helps us get over the pain..we got Reggie when he was just six weeks old.
I don't know if it is a good idea to replace your pet..only you know that in your heart. I did not want too but my wife overruled her and I was glad she did..life goes on..but you will never forget your pet dog...they are special.
I wrote a letter (to myself and to our doggies) but I did not tell my wife..but I found out later she did the same thing..only now do I realize we both loved our pets..but this is just an idea..
Our pets will return to us in Heaven..this I have been told..so you will see them again...as if this is what it takes to make heaven heaven..then you will see your pets again..reborn with no pain..just like you will be reborn..

I'm so sorry to hear that. I don't want to ask why and open a topic about it since I know you're really feel sad about what happened. You can always get one to replace it so that you won't be sad anymore. Cheer up ^_^.

I'm so sorry for your loss Argie. I have two little dogs and I know they won't live forever or even as long as a human. The thought of losing them is just to crushing to bear.
Take the time to grieve and remember all the joy your dog brought you. Of course, no other dog could ever take your dog's place, but maybe someday you can get another dog, when you are ready.
My daughter works in an animal shelter and there are so many dogs just waiting for a loving home. You sound like the kind of person who would really give a good home to a dog in need so I hope you can find a new friend down the road when you are ready.

hello argie, do not feel sad, this is life, take it easy. I know ,I have a dog and I am also very much attached to him. He is so loving and really playful. As my children are not with us he is like a child for us. So I know the pain and sorrow you are feeling now. So slowly you will get over this, though you cannot forget.Try to engage yourself in your school work ,ok Rest is HIS WISH .

I am so sorry for you. I just went through the same thing two weeks ago. My dog was sick for a while with kidney and liver problems at it finally got to the point where we had to have her put down. It was really hard and I miss her a lot. I wake up in the morning expecting her to be there but she isn't. Our pets become family to us, so it is almost like losing a child.

My sympathies. What was the reason? know how it is to feel without one's pet. Most of the people treat them like one of their family members.
In fact, in these times, pets are more loyal than humans. Even otherwise, they are innocent and loving creatures.
They not only give one company but also provide help under various circumstances. They are known even to save lives. Losing a faithful companion is shocking.
But nothing is immortal in this world. Ultimately whatever is born will have to pass away.
