OK so I'm pretty crafty- but not near as crafty as my sig. other- My daughter begged him for years to make a wooden swing set for her- You know the metal ones just don't hold up well for older kids- I also love to swing- Do any of you love to swing-
We measured our butts and made the swings to fit them- and I found a great porch swing for the middle- This is great for those hot nights - we have spent numerous nights out on the swing set-
Check it out-
Does everyone have a swingset in their yard? How many adults like to swing as much as the kids? This set will last us for years- and its perfect size!

My boyfriend is so going to hate you.lol. I will be bugging him to make me one of those now. Well, for my grandchildren of course.lol. That is a nice swingset. Nice job. I love to swing but right now I only have one of the porch swings out in the yard.

Yeah, my boyfriend said it would probably cost about $1000. Is he close? If thats true, then it will be awhile before I get one.

Nope-- I think it was right around $500 but that was because I paid $100 for the porch swing- It's made by the Amish- supposed to be really good- We stained it and this year it looks terrible- So I think around $400 for wood, chains, nuts, nails, screws , etc. He made the swings out of wood and we had the bar and rings from another swing set-
so probably for $400 it could be done- then again it depends on how much wood costs at that time and where you live-

lol--- I bugged mine for about 1 year- then we bought this house- and I said lets do it- I didn't figure it would cost as much as it did-- but the chains alone were alot- they are really heavy- Have to be for us adults-

Thats a really nice swing set. I love my swing and can't wait to get outside and swing on it. We have some kind of bugs in the yard right now that gives my daughter some bad bites.
