no, i didnt find the movie very true to life, sure it was entertaining, but there was no way in the world that jack would have been allowed on the first class deck or anywhere for that matter, they were securely LOCKED downstairs...
the movie that the us made in 1956 regarding the titanic was much better than camerons movie

I dont think there will be anyone who dont like Titanic. If you can note, Titanic is the only movie in the Interest 'Movies' of mylot, about which still Topics are created and postings are being done. This shows the quality of the movie Titanic.

I loved the Titanic. I have the collector's edition dvd and watched it on tv Sunday night. I saw the old version in high school and hated it. I was skeptical when this one came out in 1997 because I didn't like the old one, but I was pleasantly surprised. The remake couldn't have been done any better. Excellent movie.

I really liked the movie. I first saw it alone in the theater because I had to do a last minute reaction paper required in our English class in college. I thought it was going to be a drag but it wasn't. I even saw it again twice with my friends and still kept crying especially in that part where the musicians decided to keep on playing instead of trying to get into one of the boats and save themselves. For me it is still worth watching even until now when I see it on TV or on video, I still wanna watch it over and over again as if for the first time yet. It's one of the love story movies of all times that I won't forget.
