I love cinnamon as well, it is such a warm and homely smell! The smell of bacon always makes me hungry and I am a vegetarian! Now does that make any sense! lol! Although 'Happy' by Clinique is not my personal choice of perfumes I must admit it does smell nice. Smelling your wife's hair, hmmm-mm you sound like a romantic husband !

Happy isn'y my first choice of perfume either, I was just really surprised that I actually smiled the first time I smelled it, then she showed me all the guff about it being engineered to inspire happiness etc.
I thought they made vegetarian bacon now?
I like the smell of her hair SOMETIMES, on the rare occasions she leaves it more than a day or two between washing it smells unique but rank!

I love this! Annie, who could ever come up with this but you? I love the smell of:
My mom--it reminds me of who she is too me.
Indian Food--I love Indian food not just because of the taste, but also because it always relaxes me. When I leave the Indian restaurant I frequent, I feel like I just left another world behind.
Middle Eastern/North African spices: I makes me think of all the great dishes I create and how good they are.
Green Grass: It is a new season, I am ready to have fun.
The skin of a baby: It is so pure.
The smell of fresh cut fries and funnel cake: I makes me think of all the carnivals I have been to.
Hot out-of-the-oven chocolate chip cookies: I love these and they make me feel so comforted.
Hot chocolate at Christmas time: It is another comfort feeling. It makes me ready for a good book.
Old books: I love to read old books. There is so much to learn from the past, even though the present thinks it has it all together.
Pizza: Oh baby...don't get me started....and I love the spinach alfredo pizza, too.

When I started the discussion I said to Joep watch yessie is going to love it! She loves to pamper her with different fragrances! It is amazing how we pick up the 'sent' of our loved ones, Even blindfolded I will be able to smell my daughter if she is in the room! hmmm the smell of chocolate chip cookies, and a hot chocolate drink in winter yummy! Joep is crazy about Indian food, curry and spices, I don't like it that much, but I must admit the smell of curry makes me hungry! Oh don't stop come back later and give us some more!

For me I love the smell of freshly cut grass! It reminds me that spring or summer is here and it is a wonderful clean and pleasant smell. It always reminds me of grass fights we used to have at school which were fun and bring me to fondly remember the good old days. A lot of us do take our senses for granted

Hmmn, smells good!;)
I guess the smell of sea breeze makes me smile, the scent of moist in the morning makes me start my day right. A flower blooming in our backyard would remind me of being one with nature, also reminds me of my younger years growing in a place where floras and faunas co-exist at each other!;)

I love the smell of horses, learning to ride was a feat over difficulties.
I love the smell of fresh bread - who doesn't.
I love the smell of spring, freshly mown lawns and the sun on my face.
I love the smell of damp rocks, tree ferns and waterfalls.
I love the smell of my own skin when I get out of a lavender bath.
I love the smell of a meal I didn't have to cook.
I love the smell of coffee, especially when there is cheesecake to go with it.
I love the smell of a breeze when I'm having a good day, it's usually sent by an angel.

OH my, now she is a poet, as well! Tetchie what is it with freshly mown lawns, it is a smell which seems to be liked globally! Like I mentioned before, I wonder why they don't put some of our favorite smells in a darn bottle! Imagine yours, the smell of horses, or bacon, or a barbecue! lol! I love the smell of coffee and don't even mention cheesecake!

lavender always puts a smile on my face. Special memories of my grandmother who I stayed with many times as a child. She would put a drop of lavender oil on my pillow, it always comforted me.

My boyfriend wears a cologne called Aramis, which I absolutely love to smell on him. Every once in a while he sprays too much on, but it's a nice smell. It's strong, but not overpowering. When my cat was a kitten, he also had a clean (for lack of a better term) smell when he'd curl up next to me - none of that matted down fur smell that some cats get. Maybe it was a kitten thing.

Chocolate chip cookies! I love that smell. Of course, I love the taste even better.
I also love the smell of rain, or imminent rain.
The smell of babies is pretty cool too, but my kids are older now, so it's been a long time and it's not the same, for me on someone else's child as it was on my own. Maybe when I have grandchildren (in about 10 years hopefully) it will bring back those maternal feelings.
The smell of fresh cut grass is a good smell too.
Chocolate brownies in the oven, apple pie...okay, getting away from the food smells again.
Burning wood smells nice.
I'm trying not to let myself talk about Barbecue because I'm trying to get away from the food scents.
Puppy or kitten breath is pretty neat too.
I think I'm out of ideas now.
I'll probably think of something else when I get up and walk away from my computer.
Good discussion topic! :-)

Oh man, there are so many. The smell of crayons remind me of my school days and that brings back so many good memories. The smell during a fresh rain. The smell of clothes that have been hung outside to dry on a nice spring day. Any baby products, especially Johnson's brand. Home made bread baking and some other baked goods. Fresh mowed lawn. I'm sure after I send this post I will think of more and more.
