You Parents Lied!

As we grow up our parents dish out all sorts of advice and bits of wisdom...but think about some of the most idiotic things they taught you that turned out to NOT BE TRUE!..share here...

My Parents told me when I was about 5 or 6, that if I kissed a boy that I would get pregnant...of course at that time I still believed in Santa Claus, who knew that parents were such liars. On a side note a couple of years later, I liked my dolls and thought it would be cool to have a baby of my own, so I tried kissing a (boy) friend of mine, and I was so frustrated when it didn't work! it's fun to laugh about now though.

I have often wondered the point to misleading children into thinking there is such a thing as Santa Clause

Santa Claus is not true and we have decided not to tell our children about him.

LOL i can't remeber any off the top of my head but i know what you mean. Sometimes it makes me wonder what the heck makes them think they know it all! then again parents think we think we know it all.
