Help,I think our ditch drain is blocked- we started having problems about 6 months ago when water came up from our basement drain.We had our septic tank pumped(although the water was not septic water) and we cleaned our gutters out.Next we ran a snake into the drain 100 ft. Hit a blockage and cleaned it out- seemed fine-no water for 4 months then 2 months ago- water again coming from our basement drain-especially when it rains.We hired someone to snake out 300 foot of our approx 700ft drain to the ditch- no blockages found- however we were made aware of the fact that we could see water coming up out of the cover where the ditch drain begins- we again rented a snake and found a blockage we were not able to clear about 15 ft in- I'm guessing our next step is to dig up the ditch drain- any suggestions?
