Lagging on myLOT!!??

Hi there myLotters,
Is it just me or is myLot lagging ALOT less now?! It is great, now i can post more efficiently because there is less lag and the webpage loads much more faster! It usually takes aobut 1 whole minute for me to click on "post discussion" and "post a comment" and takes ages to load the page, now it takes about 6 seconds, and no it is not because i have slow internet, i think it is because the huge traffic on myLot, but now it is great! it is lagging ALOT less,
Is it just me or are you guys lagging alot less too!?

Hi, I think it's the time of day people use it as to whether it lags or not. I find it's during the day here that it goes slower (I'm in the UK), which I guess doesn't make sense as it would still be nightime or early morning in the USA and that in theory should make it quieter.. perhaps people are enjoying holidays and such like at this time of year?

In theory distance from the actual users server shouldn't make much difference really, I presume it's a US site, but couldn't actually be sure. Do you have broadband where you are and is it down a telephone line or cable as if it's on a telephone line, the further away you are from the telephone exchange, the lower speeds you run and if alot of your neighbours are using it at the same time, it reduces further still.. Hi there Bizziebod, i have found that time did not really matter to me. I have tried using myLot in different time intervals, morning, afternoon and night time, and to me, the lagging happens all the time. I live in Australia....... would the lagging be due to the long distance away i am from where the server of myLot is based in? I am thinking that it would be based in the US am i right?

I think it wass lagging on your internet connection. last month I still use another ISP and today I change my ISP for better connection. I try to open mylot website and do response it works fast without lag.
started from today I will become more active again since my new connection are better than older!!

hi mini,
i am glad that it as gotten better today and you could do it faster. for the past few days i have been having some problem as well. but that, i guess, has to do with internet connection which has gone defunct due to heavy, incessant rains here. Today, its comparatively better.

Hi there mimpi, i have a relatively fast internet access but it seems like that myLot is still a webpage which takes a long time to load, for some reason... Yes it has gotten better, much better than when i first joined myLot it was lagging so much!

Hhhm.... seriously? I have been lagging SIGNIFICANTLY less compared to two days ago! Where you live may have something to do with it.... like i said, myLot is VERY slow to load compared to all other website, but i have seen a change that some pages in myLot took like 2-4 seconds to load, which usually took around 10 seconds or more to load before...
