I am sure it will be a wondeful experience..let's hope for the best this time.I have "only" to wait until the 6th of August!!!

Sorellina, How exciting. What a great way to experience Egypt's history and beauty. I hope you get to see the home of Queen Hatshepsut. She was their famous female pharoah...and the valley of the Kings. This sounds like a wonderful experience.
I am glad did not visit Scotland at this time because I saw the attempted bombings on the news. Four autos filled with gasoline and nails. One that crashed into their airport entrance attempting to blow it up. How horrible. I am just happy that that their attempt at distruction failed.

my dear, your words about my visit to Scotland are so touching because they show how much you care for me. i decided not to go there before the terroristic attack but of course it would have been difficult going there after what happened. I join you in my happiness that there were no victims but of course I am sad about the news itself.
I hope one day we can meet and visit a place together...as far as the female pharoah is concerned, well they have her remnants in the Cairo museum so I think I will be able to see her!!! of course I will tell you more when coming back

Hi Friend - I haven't forgotten you but things have been crazy around the house and I'm trying my best to get organized, it's not working with 4 and 2 year old grandchildren wanting to spend every waking minute and many nights also 'attached' to Grandma... I love them but oh does it ever make researching and writing difficult...
Anyway, on topic - my parents took a cruise down the Nile and toured parts of Egypt some years back. I am sure you will have a wonderful time and really enjoy it. Wish I could go with you. Maybe someday we could meet up for the Scotland trip - I would dearly love to visit there...
