In China here, it's hot and stuffy. I sweat easily. My hair is often wet with the heat, so are my clothes. I don't think staying in the air-conditioned room all day is a good choice. How do you get rid of the heat and live a healthy life?

take a bath as often as you can, at least 3 times a day. drink a lot of fluid-juices would be nice. stay in shaded area. open your windows at home so air would circulate in the house.

yeah, that's fantastic advice. but taking a bath three times a day may not be an option. After all, we are not accustomed to that and work keeps us from doing so.

In India it is rainy season. We are also facing humidity problem as in rainy season humidity in air is very high and the sun also shines bright, we are too sticky. I spend most of the time in Ac which prevents from stickyness. God has made our body in such a way that it can adopt anything. Only need is to have patience. After some time of practice everything looks normal. If we prefer all the time Ac then it is also not good for health. We should enjoy all round atmosphere.

The sun in Wuxi here is often not so bright, but we feel sticky, too. Thanks for sharing.

I have a problem with the heat. I get hot very very easily, just by getting ready to go out I start sweating. So, you see I am having a hard time too this summer but, what I do is drink lots of fluid which also includes tea which opens up the pores and allows the body to cool down. Wear light color clothing as dark colors pull heat and transfer it to the body.Instead of staying in the AC all day get a fan.AC is not healthy for the lungs, fresh air circulattion is so much better. I know it's not as cool as the ac but so much more healthy.
Happy cooling off.

Thanks for sharing. Luckily my job keeps me out of the sun most of the time. I don't know if sweating a lot means bad health.

You really know a lot. As for the last piece of advice you gave, I haven't heard of it yet. Maybe I 'll give it a shot.
