Any feedback on the website? Is it easy to earn money? Do you have to be a really excellent writer to earn? Any tips for a writer starting out?

Yes, I joined Associtated Content. I must admit, it is a very nice site. Out of the five articles I've written, four of them have been published and have earned me money. I kid you not, I actually got paid. The site was directly linked to my paypal and the money went into my paypal and then from there I transferred it directly into my bank account. It takes a little while for them to give you an offer on your writing, but they get back to you within a week usually. I strongly recommend them to everyone! You don't have to be an excellent writer, you just have to write about things that interest the public. They usually send you e-mails stating what kind of topics they are interested in that month, but you can write about anything at anytime. Like I said, just try and be as original as you can, and you'll be making money in no time!! Good luck!

If you submitted your article for payment they should have sent you an offer for payment which you could then approve and then they pay you by paypal.

I have been writing for Associated Content off and on for two years now. I love them. They were the first website that I tried writing for money with. I have also used my Associated Content website to get me other writing jobs, which is nice, as I now work from home as a freelance web content writer.

Writing's never easy. However, AC is receptive to concepts and ideas that aren't necessarily crafted to AP style. I've been a member of AC for a couple of months, but the most "newsworthy-style" stories I get accepted on the site receive the least hits. So write from your heart, with meter, make it prose and (as someone else said) make it about something you know. Then you'll make some dinero. No, you won't get rich quick. But as another commentor said, it'll go into the bank pretty fast.

The best way to earn money with Associated Content is to promote your work like crazy. You can make some serious money with the PV bonus. Also, if you submit too many articles and your cost per pv is too high, AC has been known to temporarily suspend accounts until the pv to pay ratio was higher. So promote from the beginning. Get used to spending more time promoting then actually writing and you should do great.

I tried joining that website, but for some reason my e-mail wouldn't arrive. Therefore, I couldn't use it. It sounded nice, maybe I should try it again. I'm pretty sure you'll find a lot of people who can give you some feedback about this website. I'll join it again, and maybe sometime in the near future I'll be able to tell you if it's good or not.

I am also a member of AC. I don't feel you have to be an excellent writer to earn money with them. Of course, the better you write, the more you will earn. But, I don't think I am an excellent writer and I've earned $350 in 3 months with them in my spare time. Unless you can devote a lot of time to it, you are not going to get rich. But, You can earn extra money. The best tip I can think of for someone starting out is to write about what you know. I started writing about diabetes and gardening and sewing. Those are the things I already know lots about because I have done research for my personal interest. After you get into it and get a few articles published you will have a better feel for what they want. Then, you could start doing more articles on things you don't know about but want to research. Of course, you can always just do whatever you want. :D
