I only speak English, I would like to learn Spanish and French someday. I do know a few words in both languages but not enough to carry a conversation.

Well my favourite language is Portuguese because I spent many years travelling and living in Brazil. English is my native language as I was born and live in the UK. French is probably my third language and the one I have studied at college. I have also tried to learn Russian and Italian. I have learnt a few words in Irish which I find fascinating. I should be learn to speak Spanish because it is probably one of the easiest to learn for an English native speaker and it is similar to Portuguese, but I have simply never got round to learning it. I once got a Chinese language book from the library as I'd wished to learn Mandarin Chinese, but I gave up after the first page :-)
