I've had one of those weeks. It started with hurting my back, computer broke, chooks got eaten by a fox, friend got married, Grandmothers 70th, Ambulance at a football match that had one child down with broken neck and another with a broken leg. 1 minute into the game. while a raging storm was on. This wasnt any of my children but I still felt very sorry. My sons game got cancelled which was suppose to take place afterwards, computer broke, daughters dance night (which she did really well with. So proud), my youngest sons school picnic and now I have a cold. I tell it was all on. Im looking forward to the school holidays.lol Hows your week going?

Glad you are back. Sounds like you had an eventful week. I've only been back a few days myself from a vacation in Florida. I attended my nephews wedding, that was the purpose of the vacation. Just trying to get rolling with My Lot like I was before I left, and finding it hard to get back into the groove.

Wow, not sure I can top that. In April I could. Anyway, we had to buy another car, used, since hubbies van could not be. It has been in the shop and still not done. We drive my van that needs a water pump and are waiting while we scramble to find the money to pay for the first vehicles repairs. We only had to work 2 day this week until I worked Tuesday evening and then had to try and call the morning crew to let them know. Then it is so dry around here that the fireworks are a real hazard more so that normal. No police about though. So aside from a brief shower we need rain really bad, money for repairs so that we can travel to work to earn to pay for repairs and rent. Wish us luck.
Sorry for your experiences and hoping that things calm down and life can be good for the rest of the summer.

We are in Northern Ohio near the Cedar Point Amusement park. Our grass is turning brown and it is a bit prickly to go out barefoot. I use my dish water after finishing with dishes to water my bit of garden. Thanks for asking and responding to me.

Okay, you have worn me out with just the reading of your discussion. I am out of school right now, but am working a part time job. I do not have kids in school. I have a question or two: Did your computer break twice? and what is a chooks, and how did it come to be eaten by a fox? Did the kid with the broken neck survive? I am reading this through e-mail, and I have not read other responses. If you have answered these questions, you do not have to answer them again for me. I will just read the entire discussion after I post, and sincerely, welcome back.

Hi GardenGerty, I sorry to wear you out, the computer only broke the once thank goodness, I typed the last posting at a friends house. A chook is also known as a hen, lady chicken, the fox must have dug under the fence. This has now been fixed but because it has never happened before I wasnt aware there was any problems with the fence. I am happy to answer any question you ask, always a pleasure.

It was peaceful mind wise, but very active physical wise. A lot of activities in the house and the shop, mostly for projects which deadlines are due this month and we're sorting unused stuffs to put on garage sale or throw away. Summer is the best time to do this. You had one busy week for sure :)

Hi Tredale, apparently my week wasnt nothing like yours. I always feel bad when someone gets hurt at a sporting event. I'm sorry you hurt your back and now you have a cold on top of it. Thats to bad. Sounds like all and all you had a very eventful week. Get some rest and take care of yourself, Terry

Thankyou Terry, I will be fine. I am also still concerned about the two young boys even though Im unlikely to find out how there doing. My back is now okay and a cold is a cold. But thankyou for your concern and I hope you are doing well. I dont normally have weeks like that but I guess we need one in a blue moon to remind us how lucky we really are.lol
