I just published my first 2 articles at Associated Content - I got some ??s

I have written articles for AC but they don't pay that much and the bonuses are pennies. However, it is a good way to get to be known as a writer. I have not referred anyone to AC.

AC is a great site that I am now in the process of actually starting to write more for. I have 3 articles published and one that just got approved and should be published shortly. All 4 combined paid me $19.87. It all adds up pretty quickly if you can get 2 or 3 done per day. I really liked you published article and rated it and left a comment plus I also subscribed to your future articles which I will also rate and comment on. I am also a member of AC and have published a couple of things there. I would Love to know your name there as well so we can read each others work. There is a way on there where you can subscribe to an Author there as well so you can help them earn. You just will see a thing on top that says Subscribe, and that is what you do. And you can Email anyone from there as well. I actually am keeping track of a couple of people there that are also in myLot. Good Luck with AC. It can be a Fun and rewarding experience.

I wish you all the luck in the world. I think it is very sad that americans only are free to join. I would love to be able to publish stuff =) However I guess it is a language thing as well, that they want people with perfect english.

I unfortunately have not had a chance to write for them as yet, I have 6 on Helium have to rearrange my time to get to write more now that I have published my website, I want implement my writing with my site. But congratulations and good luck.

One of the best ways to get other CPs to read your articles is to comment on theirs. There is also an AC friends group in the forum that is full of names and links. Being active in the forum is a good way to get your name out there and to get people curious about what you write. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the promised new forum will bring back the avatars that link your posts to your CP page.

Welcome to AC, Lloyd. You should do well since you seem to write a lot and well. I've been on there since January but I didn't submit anything until around March. I think I've published 9 or 10 things now. I'm not a very good writer but they seem to take just about everything. I only had one turn down which they said was because it was op-ed. Anyway, I'm at www.associatedcontent.com/marnietaylor. Let me know what your user name on AC is and I'll subscribe to you. (I don't think have to have published yet for people to subscribe to you.)That way when you do publish, I'll read your stuff and you'll get credited with some hits.

Hey Lloyd, I joined AC during the fall of last year. Someone offline told me about it. You can invite others by emailing them with your referral id. I'm not sure if you're rewarded or not, I don't have any referrals so far. You find your referral link under the my invites tab. Go ahead and add me to your list so I'll be alerted when you publish your work. I'll send you a message with my email address. I hope I've been helpful in someway.

Congrats Lloyd!—I have checked out the site quite a few times but have never joined- I’m not sure if it is the thought of rejection- or the lack of time- I hear they pay pretty well also – So I hope you get paid for yours- I have heard that some people put in 5 or 6 and get paid for a couple- So good luck to you! Hi Lloyd, I have been with AC for 6 months now and I have made over $219. The reason it is so low is because I don't have time to write 5 or so articles every day but if you have time to write a good bit of articles then you can make a living. I have a friend on AC that does just that. The referral bonus is $3 but I'm not sure if it is still going on or not. I have 15 referrals but only 4 of them have been published and you only get paid for the ones who have been published. I already got paid for the first 2 that were published and am waiting on the other 2. You have to copy and paste your referral list in an email and send it to admin@associatedcontent.com That is what I was told and I did and got paid for the first 2. I just sent them another email yesterday and am waiting to see if I get my other $6 or not. I am currently not writing for them because they practically accused me of copying my articles straight from my source. That is something you don't do; accuse a writer of plagerism. I will write for them again but right now I don't have a whole lot of time and I kind of got writers block. I usually come out of it pretty quick but not this time. Also make sure you promote those articles when they get published because the more page views the more you earn. The performance bonus isn't much but it does add up. My husband got paid for a couple of articles he wrote.He isnt active right now on it due to work and being busy,ect.I on the other hand would like to try writing artcile for them but cannot think of what to write on.You can say I have brain freeze.LOL.

Good job! I would love to do that. I keep thinking about doing it and lose my nerve. I know that is silly. I wrote for my high school newspaper and write a blog now. I've even written little funny stories. Hope you continue to do well. I just need to jump off and do it,too.

I have been hearing a lot about AC since I've been here on MyLot, lloydanthony, and it seems that quite a few people write for them. I would also be interested in learning how to become a member of this site. I am pretty sure that you can refer friends.

Hi Lloyanthony111. I glad to hear that you have written for AC. You Should be proud. One thing though you did not give your AC producer's link so that we can view your work. I for one is very happy for you because AC is selective. you will get something in two weeks or so but you do need to get your Ac link out there so that you can get some hits. Also have you got your paypal set up for payment yet? By the way I too have published on Ac as well as Buzzle more in the poetry section right now but my time is limited, however will get in there with both feet very soon.
