Why do people start discussions AND not just ONE but like six at a time and they are ALL about the same thing?
Just reworded? I can not stand that!!!
And another thing I can not stand is the one line discussions.
AND I guess I need to go through my friends and delete those people. SO if you are on my friends list and you get deleted then you know that you are one of those people I can not stand!
I have been going through my email notices and I have like 500 or more and there is just not much I can relate too because people like these are pizzing me off and taking up my time.
Sorry I probably should not have started this discussion because I am not in a good frame of mind right now and I am angry but I need to vent. AND tell people TO READ THE GUIDELINES!
I do not even care if I lose points or get banned for this discussion
iI have had it .

Calm down if you et more than thing just let the person know that "Hey, I am not interested in seeing the same stuff sent 10 million times can you try something new or better yet don't post nothing"
Honesty is always the best way, but don't let this get you down. You are better than that.
being stressed over crap is not worth it. As a matter of fact getting stressed out period is a waste.
You take it easy!

Here, here, I totally agree and have also vented about the same thing in the past. It really is very annoying. Time wasting for them and us. I hope you are in a better frame of mind and all is going well. I hope I dont get wiped or I will feel rather silly. Goodluck.

One line discussions don't bother me as much as those, as you've said, are all the same discussion posted several times but just worded differently. I wish something would be done about it because there is no sense in it. I think Mylot needs to hire someone to troll the boards and delete duplicates and discussions that just do not cut it.

I know exactly how you fell. I get those discussions occasionally and it clutters up my e-mail. So what I have been doing is turning the notification to off and when I have time I go back and see if I can relate to some of the discussions. So far I haven't had to delete anyone but I think you are right they should deleted.

Ok, I didn't mean to, but I accidently posted 2 topics on Paris Hilton. One came out with the pic and the other had no pic. Everything else was the same. Hope I'm not one of those people who are pissing you off. I will try not to do this again.

Vent on, I think there are other people here that feel the same way. I just try to answer discussion that someone has put some thought into, unless it's a joke everyone could always use a good laugh.

I can't stand when people post a discussion that holds no merit for discussion, but is simply their outlet to scream about something. Go to myspace if you want to use this as your b*tch and moan diary.

Dear sjohnson628
Even I can't stand this thing just like you .. it really makes me crazy .. I just avoid discussions of that persons .. actually what they are doing is a violation here .. I guess they have not read the Do's and Don't page of mylot .. I think that page should be always visible to all members when they are responding to discussions or starting their own .. because this is the only way through which they can learn .. I have many friends in my list .. who used to do this thing .. but I won't say anything to anyone .. all I do is -- simply ignore their discussions .. because I just can't be a part of that type of discussion.. I just can't be rude to them .. but I have no alternative to this .. and so I keep on ignoring my friends who used to do this thing.

I have to agree with you, I don't delete them from my friends list, but I do turn their notify off, so it isn't junking up my in box. I have turned several off just for the above reasons.

Sometimes we just have to vent and I think you did a good job at it. At least you warned the people on your friends list about being deleted. The one liners eventually get deleted and the people who write them should realize that. It doesn't do them or the people who respond any good. I'm sure you won't get banned or lose points for this discussion. I think it was a good one.

Speak your mind its kool and really do understand and i know exactly what you are talking about.I go to the section where it says discussions friends has started and i see some has started like 10 or 20 at a time. You know you dont have to keep the notification button on for them.I turned alot of them off because its to many they are starting at one time and taking up to much space.

Agreed 100%- I can't stand it either- I don't know how many discussions I delete each day in my e-mail because of this- 1 person posts 10 discussions on the same thing- Most of them 1 liners all asking the same thing- just a different way- and never giving their opinion- and never commenting on your response- what the heck kind of friend is that?
I say read the guidelines also- Drives me bonkers- I hate to delete friends- but it is these types that irritate me!

I hear you and agree, I think they are looking to make money and get a lot of answers, I just ignore them, and soon you do not see them any more other then to say how disappointed they are in mylot and friends not answering their posts. I do have a limited amount of friends, and I do try to answer their posts, in a responsible way. the stupid questions and the one liners I just totally ignore. they will not be missed.

Tell me about it. I had to turn off two friends because I was getting 30 discussions a day from them and most of the topics they asked, were not worth bothering about.

I am with ya on this. That is a lot of why I am hardly hear anymore. I feel bad because I don't get to respond to my friends a lot but I have to stay away from stupid people. LOL I have already weeded out my friends list once and I will probably be weeding it out more. There are a few that I really try to respond to their discussions anymore. You are one of them :)
