Try swimming in the sea, at least the ocean is big enough so it will not really matter if some people do nasty things in the water.

I don't know yoga, I want to learn but the classes are so exepensive, unlike swimming I can go to the pool anytime I want and spend less than 100 pesos..

I do not know swimming. Benefits of health: : The first comprehensive study into the impacts of swimming pools in Aboriginal communities has found a remarkable reduction in a range of diseases. The Institute for Child Health Research has looked at three remote communities in Western Australia where the installation of pools have led to a much lower rate of ear and skin disease, as well as respiratory conditions. For some communities it's been a long wait. The people of Jigalong in the Pilbara tried to get a pool 25 years ago. David Weber reports. DAVID WEBER: Jigalong was one of three remote communities to get pools in the year 2000. There was a lot of anecdotal evidence that pools brought health benefits for children, but there was no comprehensive research. Now, the results of a six-year study seem to prove that pools provide much more than a way to cool down. The Director of the Institute of Child Health Research, Professor Fiona Stanley, says there's been a dramatic decrease in skin sores. FIONA STANLEY: Skin sores in Aboriginal children is probably associated with renal disease and rheumatic fever, so it's fabulous. The second thing has been the marked improvement in ear disease, so that these kids who usually have a lot of runny ears and very nasty ear infections which actually not only are a problem as an infection, but also interrupt their learning process because they're deaf. DAVID MARK: Since the pools have been put into the three communities, ear disease has dropped by 44 per cent, skin disease by 51 per cent and respiratory conditions by 63 per cent. There's been a marked fall in prescriptions of antibiotics. Professor Stanley. FIONA STANLEY: We also went through all the records. So in addition to examining the children, we went through all of the health records at all the clinics where these children attend in each of the communities and again have confirmed the drop in antibiotic usage and confirmed the drop in kids presenting with all sorts of infections, but particularly the skin, the ears and the chest. DAVID MARK: The pools have stopped children going to dangerous waterholes and creeks where there'd be the occasional drowning. Paediatrician Desiree Silva is a strong advocate for pools in remote communities. She also worked on the study for the Institute.

backstroke - backstroke
I love to swim, in fact I was a swimming instructor and a varsity swimmer back in college. I became serious in swimming because of my scoliosis, my doctor recommended swimming because it's a very relaxed exercise and stretch for the spine. My back and shoulder pains are gone after an hour of swimming, I used to swim everyday but now that I am working, I can only swim during weekends.
