What's going on here

Lately here on mylot its been rather discouraging. I have found a forum where alot of mylotters are. Im trying it out for now. The pay is alot better then mylot too. So look around there are alot of good forums out there.

Hello totty1969! You are not alone, I have experienced and observed the same thing. In fact last week I did a survey of my friends in my friends list. I found that many of them haven't logged in for more than two months now, some are away for more than a month and others haven't signed in for more than 2 weeks. I wonder if they have really left or are just gone for some time to come back again. I have less hope for the people who has not signed in for over 2 months, others may come back after a while. Lately there was also a surge in banning people here on mylot. I saw many discussions popping up to mention their friends or the people they know have been banned. Mylot has also probably decreased the pay per post, at least I have observed it in last four days. This may further lead to more people going out. I have also come to know about some other site. I don't know if people are joining there at the cost of mylot or just as an additional posting site. I just hope that things work out for people and I would love to see all my friends to discuss with them as I have been discussing. Best of luck:-)

Totty, I was gone for 3 days, away from computer and cell phone and I love it.... I think that many people get involved in mylot gangs, playing unfair to others including myself. What they don't know is that I have really good life and I am not going to compete with anyone to gain an extra few cents or few dollars... By having said that, I am not much involved in mylot as I used to be...but I am here my friend...:)

Here are some of the problems that have influence many to leave. 1. Earnings being reduced to one half (or less) of one cent ($.0048) per post credited. 2. Discussions being deleted for no particular reason. 3. Rules being change without prior notice. (Jokes and recipes) 4. Mean spirited members being responsible for destroying other users reputation. (Giving negative ratings causing star number to go down) 5. Accumulated points disappearing over night without explanation. 6. Lack of integrity and fairness in the administration of the site. There are more but it is too depressing to go on.

A few weeks ago l had a 10 raiting and for some reason l dropped down to a 7. I have no idea why that happened. That kind of took the wind out of my sail so l seem to have lost interest in mylot. I haven't quit or anything, I just don't feel the same way as l once did about mylot.

Hello totty1969, Just wanted to say hello and that I would like to be your friend. Im new to this blog site, and never been on one before. Maybe you can help me out and explain more about this. I posted one topic with several questions and responded back to them and earned .05 cent... hmm dont know too much about this thing. Anyway its fun to chat though...

Hiya . i know just what you mean , I seem to have lost quite a few friends too , Some I do know were banned but I still talk to them via e-Mail , some I think have just got too scared to write new discussions as they are wary of them being deleted , some came to make money and are a bit disappointed , me? well I am staying no matter what lol xx

Yeah, that is so sad indeed but I am not surprised at all. I mean mylot isn't paying that good anymore so people are running as fast as they can without looking back at all.

Well Totty by now you will have realized what is going on here as you have sort of felt it yourself what is happening I have lost a few of mine to but some of them I have their E-mail address and they mine so I am still in contact with them

I can't spend much time here last month and this month. next month I will be here longer I don't have much to do offline then. I noticed the same thing a few months ago but recently I think my friends are still here, at least most.

I agree with you; I notice a lot of people are not here for long periods of time or not at all. I figured they were just busy but I did see somewhere that there was a new site to write and earn money on so maybe they all went there! It is hard to be faithful to both sites. One only has so much time. Plus it looked like many people were getting disgruntled with other myLotter's as well. Some really good writers have not returned what a shame! Or maybe I just have not seen them lately?

I would have to say whiteheather has made alot of good points about why people might be leaving. I myself hope that its jsut the simple fact that its summer and alot of people will come back I havent booted anyone from my friends list but I think about 20-30% of them have left, or are taking a summer break if you are more positive spirit.

From what they tell me that is how it goes on the net. The same thing has happened to me. I think we are good friends every thing seems fine. Then nothing. They would still log on to the site but nothing. It is their loss, not yours or mine. I'll be your friend. :)
