I have a prepaid phone using the Virgin Mobile service. At first I liked it,then there was a problem.I paid my fee for a monthly program and they seen on my account that I had paid it,but could not get it attached to my phone for eight days.At the time I was stuck in my home and needed my phone and didn't have it.That was four months ago. Now,I wanted the monthly plan that gives me more time and because they had a computer glitch and the represenative disconected my phone call to him. They gave me one lower level and the only way that they will adjust that.Is give me a refund and then start me back on the right plan. But,it take's seven or eight days to give me a refund and during that time I have to pay a much larger amount per minute.Or I can wait and when I start running out of minutes towards the end of the month I have to pay a different higher rate per minute then. So,I will change services next month. Are you happy with your service?

I have monthly service plan with Verizon. I have been with them for about 6 years. I haven't had any problems with service with them. When I returned from my vacation from Florida, the screen on my cell phone went out. I took it to them yesterday, and they are sending me another phone, free of charge. So I should get it today or tomorrow. Luckily, I still can make and receive calls until I get it with this one, just can't see the screen to do other things like bring up my contact list, etc.

I really enjoy my cell phone service, with Nextel. I $50 a month and it adjust so that if I go over my minutes it only charges me $5 more for every hr I go over. I hardly ever have a dropped call. Hope you're able to finde what you need in cell phone service.

I have my cellphone with Rogers in Canada, and I am on a monthly plan. I haven't had any problems with them so far. They also have my home phone, Cable TV and internet service. Their company is the second biggest provider in Canada next to Bell Canada, which is the first. I'm also able to use my phone in the USA, if I want.

Not completely. It gets to be costly unless I am talking to someone with the same service. Though I do have less dropped calls than I did on the one before.

I've had Verizon for the last few years and they have the best service of all the other services I've had.
I've had Sprint, AT&T and others that have come and gone, but they didn't provide service in every area, they had huge fees for roaming and too many dropped calls.
The other thing I like about Verizon is that they have a good family plan and we have four phones with them. No service is perfect, but we have stuck with Verizon the longest because we have had the least amount of problems with them.

Here in my country (philippines) we have only three most active network globe, smart and the latest sun networks. And I used to have them all, coz I'm using prepaid card for it. But they do have plans too but I don't use it. I just prefer to used prepaid cards coz it is more cheap. And I'm happy with there service coz I can used it somewhere as long they have a satellite on that area and I can used it internationally.

Thanks for your this disucssion. As I want to complain about my cellphone service here. I use China Mobile. And I am not satisfied with their service. The signal is so weak nearby my dad's house for a long time, more than 10 years. I complained about it for so many times, but they have never solved it. They just continuously tell you they'll follow it. But ten years passes, nothing has changed. So when I am in my dad's house, I can't make a call by my cellphone, and others can't call me, too. They still charge me the cost every month. So it's so bad service.
You may feel strange why I don't change another service. I can tell you the reason. As there are only two cellphone services in China. The other doesn't seem much more better. And I don't want to change my phone number because I am tired to call everybody to advice them.

I'm okay with my cellphone service. Not super happy about it, just okay. When I check my unbilled charges, it says that I've spent like, 100 for MMS, but I never send out MMS. My current phone can't send MMS, I have no idea how to configure it because it's generic. So how can I send MMS right? But there are these ringtones that are sent to me every month or every two weeks. I don't order them, they just come. I don't accept them either, I just delete them. Still I get charged for that. It's really irritating. I used to have a high plan, but now I've downgraded into a consumable plan. It's even more irritating now because those mystery MMS messages eat up the consumable amount. I haven't switched though because I want my number to be the same forever lol!

i, too, have virgin mobile. I'm surprised you had such a hard time with them. i've had their service for over 2 years and have never had any problems with them. i use the minute to minute plan, because we don't use very many minutes. i haven't tried any of their other plans, so i can't really comment. i must be one of the lucky ones, 'cause i've not even had dropped calls.
i want to get a helio, (it's a gorgeous little machine)but i hate those 2 year contracts, and i think i've been spoiled with virgin mobile.
