My cousin and I cannot stop laughing whenever we notice our toes, she has a big feet, and her big toe is really long as long as her thumb! So her big toe is the tallest among the five toes and they go in a descending level starting from the big toe.
When I first saw it I felt weird because mine isn't that long, and my second toe is taller than the big one.
So we were wondering which one is the normal one... but I guess as I have been checking out people's toes, it comes both ways, but I still feel like the big toe should not be longer than the second toe.. haha!
So how are your toes? Is your big toe taller than the second one or vice versa?

My second toe is my longest. I think it's called "Morton's Toe" or "Greek foot" in anatomic terms. Although it was once described as a disorder (mostly because there is more pressure on the second toe due to its being longer), it is considered a normal foot shape, but apparently only 10% of people world wide have this type (although I read in a dance article it's the most common type in North America).
I believe of the three basic foot shapes, the least common is that in which the first two or three toes are the same length. I've heard that referred to as the "Peasant's foot."

I happen to have the same type of foot as yours, second toe longer.
Really? Only 10%. I have always thought that that was the natural shape and majority of the people have the second toe longer.

Well I have beautiful feet. They are very even in proportion. The big toe is slightly longer, and they just graguly slope down, each toe is a little shorter than the next. I am very proud of how my tioes are shaped. But I was always told that the toe next to the big toe was supposed to be longer than the big toe, So I do not know.
