How old were you when you lost your virginity?

I am just wondering.
You don't need to explain the situation in any way.
All I am interested in is what country you live in, and the age you were.
Some countries seem to place a great value on virginity, and others seem to think it is okay to give it away whenever they like.
Also, if you think it is too personal, then feel free to say that as well.

Hello BELMCstar!
I didn't lose my virginity until I was married to my wife, to whom I lost it, and I was 26 years old back then. It was a choice I made long before I was married, ever since I got conscience. I thought that I'll never ever this gift to anyone else and it will be reserved for my one and only wife. She did the same though we never met before or knew each other.
I am happy about my choice and decision and I enjoy the fact that it wasn't anybody else than my own wife I gifted it to:-)
Sometimes I read here that it's better to lose it before marriage so as to have some experience. Well, every body is entitled to his/her own view, I just never thought it like that. I think that when there is love, there is no point that you will lose anything. I don't think that we have enjoyed physical thing any less than any person who had experience before marriage. Probably we have enjoyed much more because the facts I read here about them about frequency and other things, I really wonder, how less these people have been having. anyway, these are just my views:-)

I am from the United States. I lost my virginity when I was 18. I think thats much older than the norm for the US. It seems like they are getting younger all the time.

I'm 23 and I'm still a virgin, which I'm very happy about! It's so, so hard nowadays to wait - all of my friends think I'm off my rocker and most guys pretend to be okay with it when in reality they're not, they either try to change my views or start asking after a few months.
I live in the states, though I'm originally from the Dominican Republic. I don't know if where I'm from has anything to do with it though. I just don't agree with giving that part of me to every guy I'm attracted to. I think it's much deeper than that.

Hi, I am from an Asian country and I didn't lose my virginity before marriage. Here in my country we never practise anything like that. Even though we are a democratic country, some things like this is still a bizarre.

Still haven't, got close one time but backed out since I didn't seem right and the time (and was glad too since the relationship wasn't really serious and we broke up soon afterwards). But am still waiting for the day to come though :)

I was 17 or 18 when I lost mine, I dont remember which but it was around then, sadly it was not by choice but I have come to terms with that now! I live in Australia, I think you become legal when you are 16 here but lots of people do it before then, including my sister who's first child was born when she was 15 and 2 months old!

hmmm... lemme see, i think it was at the age of 15... nweiz, im from the philippines.. and i think teenagers nowadays would be losing their virginities as early as the age of 13... i really dont blame them... as what you can see nowadays.. based on TV and music vids.. it really wouldnt come as a shock to me... teens nowadays really stick to the trend.. hope u guys wouldnt read this as a negative comment... just stating out what i have observed.

I was around 15 when I lost my virginity. I live in the U.S. I guess I was just purely curious about what the big deal was. I don't regret it at all.

I am from the US and was 18 when I lost my virginity. I deeply regret it because a week later, we broke up. Three months later I met the man I would marry. We've been married for 12 years, together for 15. If I had just waited three months, I could truthfully say he's the only man I've ever been with. Hindsight is 20/20, I guess.

I'm 18 and i'm still a virgin. I'm waiting for the right guy. It seems that here in the US teens are losing it at 15 or even younger which is kind of weird. But I just don't want to give it up to just anyone.

I was 18 when it happened. I was pretty much sure of what I wanted and with the person. I think I could have done it before, as there's nothing to lose, but to gain...hehe! So, I living abroad to study and everything was almost perfect. I can't say totally perfect 'cause it happened at a hostel. But it was nice.
