bargaingirl I don't know if I would say that I am "afraid", but I don't like them. They're icky for lack of a better term. Fortunately we don't have any around where I live. I've never seen one up close, except at the zoo.

bargaingirl Money for the most part, I believe. If you have a family whom you need to provide for, then the army offers a great benefits package.

bargaingirl I have read guinea pigs can live up to 7-8 years. Our guinea pig is only a baby still, we got him in July.
