Can cell phone use cause cancer? does the radiation from cell phones really lead to tumors or other types of disease or defects? I'm afraid to let my children use cell phones lest they develop a defromity from the long-term effects of radiation exposure. does using a head set or ear phone really mitigate exposure? and how much? can you point me to any credible studies on the subject?

I wouldn't worry about getting cancer from cell phones. You daughter is more likely to get cancer from second hand smoke when she leaves a mall and has to pass the smoking circle. Millions of people use cell phones everyday and I don't think there is enough to do any real damage. I remember watching a show I believe (but and not sure) is that the show mythbusters who checked out this myth and found out it was bunk....
