As far back as I can remember I wanted to have children. I wanted 12 of them. LOL Well I didn't have 12 but God allowed me to have 3. Two daughters and one son. My children are the biggest most wonderful thing I have had in my life.
Has God blessed you with children? Do you feel like I do about this?

When I was a 16 I didn't want any children. My parents would go to out of state and leave me in charge of my younger brothers. I had to make sure they were dressed and feed before we got on the school bus. Then when we came home from school I had to make sure that I cooked dinner, had the laundry done, and we all had our homework done. I was sent to their school as a volunteer instead of my mom. I knew how hard it would be so that's why I didn't want childre. When I was 20 I found out I was pg. I felt my son move really early. I fell in love w/my child from that moment on. I loved being a mom. God has blessed me with five wonderful children 4 boys and 1 girl. I've been asked if I could go back and have less children would I. My response is which one of your children would you give up. I wouldn't change my life for anything in the world.

I am so glad that you got to have your children.I feel that way for other people. If a friend, or even a character on one of my soaps wants to have a baby, I hope it works out. But for me, I wouldn't want to be a parent.

Growing up all I wanted to do was be a mom. My mother worked so hard all her life~ she worked nights and weekends so she wasn't around when we were out of school ect. I was so envious of my friends because their moms were home after school and weekends.
I wanted 3 children. (12, were you crazy!) I was blessed with 3 boys. Then I really wanted a girl. I had gotten to be so close with my mom since she retired, I wanted a daughter so when I got older I would have someone to call to go shopping or out to lunch with. I had some medical problems and went threw various female operations. When it came to trying to have another baby, the doctor told me that I would have to have another series of operations in order to have a baby. I decided that I would not do this and enjoy the 3 wonderful children I had. Three months later came our surprise! I was pregnant and this time I was blessed with my daughter. I am so close to all my children right now. I hope it stays that way as they grow older and get married, but as they say "A son is your son till he takes a wife" "A daughter is your daughter all of her life."

I too like you have 3, 2 girls and 1 boy (he's my youngest). I too Thank GOD everyday for letting me be a mother. Other then my salvation, my children are the greatest gift GOD has given me. So I can relate to how you feel. I wouldn't go back and change anything in my life, even the bad, if it meant I couldn't have my kids. I would go through everything bad again just to have them. I would have had more if financially we could've afforded it and physically handled it. But they are so worth it. Again they are my life.

God has blessed me wonderfully with 2 daughters and 1 son. =)Life for me suddenly was full of action--late nights waking to the sound of their cries while they were still babies,..back pains and sore leg muscles for trying to waltz them to sleep,..collecting tokens for those bumpy rides in the mall,..cramming to submit projects due the following day...The list is almost endless!
The more we give or do for our children, the more we learn to cherish them and this challenging life that we have.
