changin paypal acc status?

hello all! i had some problems receiving payments to my paypal acc... and, today i noticed something... "as a paypal send only account holder, you are not permitted to receive funds from other paypal acc holders"... does anyone have any ideea how can i change this status, so that i can receive payments? please?

You can go to the Help section on PayPal and there are answers to almost anything you need there. They have a limit on personal accounts and if you are selling etc. They say a premier account is what you need. Go look and find your answers. Should be really easy as long as you have a bank account to set this up and it will then work seamlessly. It has for me.

I have my Ebay and half.com linked to my Paypal. I accept payments from people for things I do online for them. I get my Mylot payments there. I have a couple of networking sites to pay me there when I make enough. I hope I am not in violation. I will have to email them and see what they have to say. Also will check the help thing, I have no problem with them. Paypal is not like here, they respond to my emails. Thanks you might have saved me from having a problem. Good luck to you.

My paypal is linked to my bank account! I can't receive anymore payments or put it back in my checking account. I thought that I had a business account when I signed up but can't find out anything on their help page. Their help page is way too complicated to understand in one day. They suspended my account because they said I had a couple websites that were in violation of the agreement. I was surprised to find out that income opportunities are prohibited. Does that apply to any income opportunity? I haven't done anything illegal.

Oh, welcome to the club. I had the same thing happen to me too. I live in Bahrain, which is also a send only country. Which means that you cannot receive any payments in your account, only send them, which is stupid since I don't have any money in my account how will I send them. I had even activated my account with a virtual credit card, but still made no difference. I wrote to them, and they replied back saying that they are in the process of expanding but can't really say when it will be available for a particular country.
If you're worried about your payments from here, in my lot, then get a moneybookers account, it is much safer than e-gold and you can withdraw the money directly to your bank account anywhere in the world. You can change that information in the "edit your preferences" on the left, and then select "payment information", and add your moneybookers account.
It's not as common as pay pal but I guess there are sites that pay through there, too, and the best part is you can withdraw the money directly, so that's pretty cool.

I had a problem also. Paypal informed me my account was suspended because I had a couple websites that were in violation. One because it is an income opportunity and the other because it is a Randomizer which they said is illegal. That was news to me. I don't have a problem deleting the randomizer, it was only a dollar and I made that back immediately. But the income opportunity I don't understand how that is so bad. Now, I can't receive payments from anyone and don't know how to remove the items from the websites in question. They are no help whatsoever.
