I bought D80 two months before D90 is released in the market. Is D90 a much better camera than D80, I understand the sensor and pixal is different with a bit more editing functions, that's all.

thebeing i see that a bunch of people use kingston. hm... in my nikon manual, kingston is not an approved brand, and one could lose the warranty for the camera for using kingston memory card. that is stupid. i have a kingston miniSD card which i used with an SDadapter...

thebeing well, i didn't dropped mine. and it wasn't old. i was quite new, meaning it was purchased about 1 month before it failed me. i am quite careful with my gear.

hey, all! went two weeks ago to a wedding, and among other shots, got this one. It was pretty chilly outside, but the bride and groom looked like they had a lot of fun. let me know what you think. cheers!

hey, guys! got my d90 a couple of days ago. I upgraded from the nikon d70, and the changes are WOW! Unquestionable better image quality, the 3inches LCD instead of 1.8inches is really something, and the way it works with my lenses...

thebeing thanks for the comment! since then, i got another toy. i got myself a slik pro 330DX tripod, as i plan to go to a trip in the mountains next week. can't wait to use it. it looks and feels solid, and i hope it will serve me for many years to come.

I would like to do some portraits of my kids before school starts but I am having and issue deciding on a background. What do you use? I tried a couple of our sheets but they are all a little to floral or plaid and not working.

thebeing yup, goin' out in a park and having some fun while taking some photos would be the best ideea. You could shoot something more formal and even something more candid in the park. Just let your kids play and have the time of their life, and capture some of those...
