I was wondering of those who are adopted do you feel anger? Do you find it hard to forgive anyone? What do you do to work thru so you will be able to forgive others?

I am not adopted myself, but I once had a girlfriend who was adopted and she used to say to me that she was quite content about it because she was chosen by her parents and my parents didn't have any choice with me. :-) I always thought that this was a positive way to look at it.

I was not adopted but my father was. I noticed that he has an issue with forgiving his parents. But he is trying to overcome that by inviting her father to stay with the family in his old age. Until now he is still working things out and I know it's hard for him. He uses us to try to fill the gap between them.

I don't think that I would be so worried about any of that at all because I am sure that there were reasons of why my parents gave me up and it probably was the best decision for me anyways.
