Trophies for Torres at Liverpool?

Fernando Torres has been quoted as saying he left Atletico for Liverpool for a greater chance of winning trophies. But, will Liverpool's acquisition of the Spanish striker push them closer to their goal of challenging for the Premiership? Can they compete with Manchester United and Chelsea or should they concentrate the Cups? Can Torres step into the shoes of Liverpool greats such as Dalglish, Rush, Fowler etc or will he be yet another over-priced foreigner struggling to keep pace with the English game?

I think Torres have a huge capabilty to bring Liverpool forward to the title. Cause everyone know who is Torres is. Torres is a great player and very dangerous for opposite team. The missing point from him is the great team that support him and the title that he always want to win. Torres is such an ambitious person. I think with work hard and with support of his great team, Liverpool..... Torres have a chance to winning everything next season

torres i dont think is gonna be an instant success in the epl game. he will take his time to settle down and may struggle for 3 months or so. then i think he'll get a hang of the english game and will start performing. he'll be good as he was at atheletico.. and even their he was their inspirational captain
