noodles/rice

I prefer noodles/pasta or anything of that persuasion. I find rice to be boring, although if it is done well, I will enjoy it and eat it. I find it hard to not prefer noodles, because I guess, it's so much easier to cook so it's hard for restaurants to screw up! Although, sometimes they don't get the noodles al dente...and that's not as nice, but it is still enjoyable for me and preferable to most rice dishes. I have grown up eating rice all my life though, and maybe that has something to do with it...maybe I am just tired of it. I love ravioli, which I have not had enough of yet, to be tired of...and I also love lasagne when it is prepared to perfection. I like chinese noodles with meat and veggies...maybe they call it lo mein- I'm not sure, sometimes I get so confused because different places have different ideas on what lo mein is!

I like both. Each item has its own charm and I've had moods for each item individually. I think one could end up liking both, its not that uncommon.

i like rice better maybe because im a filipino and rice is present in every meal of the day, im brought up that way and liked it that way, however im trying to eat less rice as im getting heavier now that im not capable of loosing weight that much...i eat noodles like once in two weeks sometimes not, my husband like to eat pancit canton that is very spicy.

I like noodles too. Especially yakisoba, its japanese egg noodle and tastes good with a sweet oyster spiced sauce which is cooked also with pieces of marinated beef.

i prefer rice.noodles have more calories than rice,too.

I like both noodles and rice allot. And its hard for me to choose between the two so I normally get a dish that I can get both with.
