Oh, my gosh. I bought 2% yesterday at Walmart yesterday and it was $2.99. When I was in Florida last week, I bought the same for about $3.35. Where are you from that it is that high?

I live in Virginia, about 45 min from Richmond and Fredericksburg. I wish it was that cheap here, it is ridiculous, my oldest son could drink almost a gallon a day if I let him.

Our milk in Wisconsin, or rather eau claire is still under or around 3 dollars. It is getting crazy how it it is getting.

Thanks for everyone's responses. At least I know that it isn't just a regional thing. I am so tired of prices going up on the basic neccessities of life. I wish they would raise the prices of things that I don't need to survive instead.

When I go to the Milk cooler I have to sigh. Milk has become to overly priced the other day my hubby said "hell we should just buy a cow" Here in MI it is up to $3.49 a gallon for 2%. I know just last year I could get a gallon for $1.98 those were the days. *sigh* My crew could go through 2 gallons a day if I would let them. As it is we buy about 5 gallons a week. It pains me to buy that many.

We are very lucky here because every week either Albertsons or Smith's has milk on sale for something like three gallons for $6 or two gallons for $5. Like I said, we're pretty lucky here when it comes to milk prices.

Yes, the price of milk has gone up. Not only has the price for milk has gone up, but also the price of cheese and corn has gone up. At walmart the cheapest gallon of milk is about $3.50. At the Dollar General store it is $4.75 a gallon. All of these items went up because the price of gas has went up. I hope they lower them soon.

I noticed today that they had marked up the milk at the grocery store here to $3.29 a gallon. Luckily, the store brand was on sale for $3.19 a gallon, which is what the other brand had been previously. I can't imagine having to pay much more than $3.50 for a gallon of milk, though!
