Which do you like most...to have your own business or to work in a company.

Well I have worked for someone else most of my adult life and I am now venturing in having my own business and I am enjoying it more than I ever have working for someone else. Having a fix income doesn't matter when the job make you unhappy.

id like to have my own business than to work in a company that there will be someone always telling you what to do. and if you have your own business you can hold your time wether you want to work or not.

My feeling was happy to boss because we could express ourselves, without frightened was reprimanded by the other person. best regards

Sometimes it's better to have and own a company but when you try to analyzed the cost and the problems to deal in having a own bussiness. It seems I just want to be an employee that only the problem is to be work hard and to give all the best to reach and to be promoted.

Great topic! I am thinking about this over and over again. I work in a company. I think it is ok for me but I am thinking about my brother's business. He started his own business. As of now, I don't think I am capable of handling a lot of things in business. I prefer to work in a company than building my own, maybe someday. ~mar

it depends on ur nature and u will slowly realise it when u enter into life's playground....personally i would like to manage my own business...bcoz im allergic to following rules and any employee in his good sense wud like to fire me ...once he gets to know me

at times, i think it's better to have your own business and be the boss. my dad has his own business. but he does not seem to be that happy. although he earns a lot from it. but he finds it hard to spend time for himself and the family. his time is mostly taken by the business. and that is why i do think twice about having my own business. working in a company, i find it better. atleast, i just need to work for 8 hours or go overtime and just get paid. plus, i get two days break a week. so, i really can have time for myself and my family while getting paid and getting some benefits... anne

Certainly I prefer to have my own business. Because, unlike jobs in a company or other sector, I shall have work-freedom and work planning and designing. For own business, income is not fixed and there is no limit to it! I can well raise my income by proper planning and expansion of business. Regarding benefits, few or more, all these are related with prime income. In own business, there is no fixed retirement age or transfer problem. I can meet many people and share their experiences and views during the course of the business. Above all my own creative planning is utilized to promote my own business for better income and benefits. Thanks from me.

I would like to work on my own. I want to have my own business because I am the one to decide what to do. I don't have to follow orders from others and not to mention the humiliation of working under a bossy boss. Lol... that's what I feel. Let's hear what others might have to say.

Its best to have your own business.Especially when it is profitable and at the same time you can provide more job to jobless.Hence, having ur own business is not a game.You need capital and risk taking.Having a strong personality and guts will help a lot and as an entrepreneur,u need to have that kind of personality.Merely,you are facing a lot of challenges.And i love to be a succesful entrepreneur someday.

Talking about income, yeah, you salary is fixed... this is the disadvantage of working for someone else - company. Well, it doesn't as long as your income is enough for you and for your family. On the other, the great advantage of having your own business is that you can have more rather than a fixed income. ~mar

for me io would rather have my own business rather working in a company...for i myself have been employed for about i don't know for how many years already..i have opted to resign and start with my own small business, though at first you would not gain much but as time goes by your business would grow...you could also meet people of different kind/s and character...

There are pros and cons. Working in a company, you don't have the headache and yes your income is fix. Your own company, you have to worry about many things such as profit, etc. I would rather have my own small little business like a store that can rake in enough money for me to live a comfortable life. Not luxurious but just happy. I hope to have my own store but not sure if I would really do it. WIsh me luck! :D

i have a big dream and my dream is to work with somebody at the same time i want to started my own business and the with my own company i want to bought the company where i work, try imagine walk in board of director which is use to be my boss old time ago... haha very cool

I think what's best for me is, a boss of my own business. Yes, that's what i am wishing for my whole life, to manage even a small business but at least i own. In that sense, I handle my time and it doesnt mean that i won't be able to meet lots of people. My point is, I am the boss and I know the risk of its twist and turns.

Well , it depends on how u prefer actually. Having your own business means u will have many overhead chargers to cover and have to work equally hard . Working for a company can be different. Income is fixed and u get lots of benefits . Get to know more friends also.

I like my own business better than to work in a company. I would be happy to be my own boss without getting work pressure from the boss and see his face. If possible, I mean, with a good financial status, I would start to have my own business. Though it could be very risky and challenging to start a business, anyway you have experienced such through your effort.

I would prefer my own business however the fixed income of working for someelse for me right now is better. I would love to take the risk in owning my own business but really can't take that money away from my kids. They need to eat.

The best for me.... well, i had my own business once and now work for a boss..... i figure i could do without all the worry that goes with ownership ... let somebody else do the worrying, i don't mind ploding along and collecting my pay each month
