How old is your computer?

We just bought our computer in March. And it works just fine for us. I was just sitting here wondering how old is your computer? And when did you get it? Does the computer serve your needs? Or would you like to get a new one?

well i have a desktop that is 4 yrs. old, i service it about once a yr. but i have a warranty with best buy! i wish i could get a new one, but as long as it's not broken i think we're okay with the one we have, i have a laptop that's 3 yrs. old still under warranty but only serviced it once.

My computer celebrates it's 2nd birthday next month! I can't believe I've had it two years now! It's a G5 AppleMac model OS X. I don't like PCs and prefer a Mac because they are less likely to get bugs, viruses etc. I would love to change and upgrade it but I haven't got the money to do so. But as long as it works that's the main thing!

Actually, it is quite ironic, I also bought my computer in March as well. It is a Windows Vista, and I enjoy it. Although sometimes when I try to download certain things, I cannot due to the fact that they are not Vista adaptable yet. Oh well.

I believe our computer is from 2000. I bought it used from my sister about 2years after she had it. It works okay for us, but it badly needs more RAM. We are planning on getting a new computer after the first of the year and I can't wait. I am going to be working from home with it and it has to meet certain requirements and this one cannot be updated enough. So I guess the kids will get to play with this one. Where did you get your computer from? Is it a brand name? I need to start searching a decide where we will buy one from. I'm pretty clueless on that part. Does it really make a big difference?

My computer is one year old. It is not what I really wanted. This one is a Pentium 4 and I wanted one with the Two Duo Core, but it had not been invented yet. If my old computer had lasted a little longer, I might have gotten a better one. I would like to get a Mac, and I am saving for one.

Our computer is around 5 years old. It has been a good PC. We paid a little more money to get more memory and faster processor. Now a lot of the new ones have all that and cost less. We would like to get a laptop someday.

Hi Lifez2short! I've had my current computer for just over 3 years now and it still works quite well for what I'm using it for. My first 2 computers were used when I got them and it took some time to get things done, so when I bought this one new, it came with all the components I needed for the work I do. I must say I'm pretty happy with it since it's been spitting out paycheck after paycheck since I got it, lol.

This is a brand new laptop. My husband bought it for me in February of this year. I really like it except for the run time errors and when I get logged off. I think it has something to do with the connection rather than the computer.

i bought my laptop somewhere in june last year, i think. so it's around 1 year old now and it's still working fine and dandy and it does serve my needs. don't think i'll upgrade it that soon as almost all of the features are pretty advanced. my laptop is one of the things that i can't live without:P

My computer is almost 2 years old and I am a happy camper with all that I can do with it. I think I bought it with tax money. My husband just bought his 1 year ago with taxes also..His has a bigger monitor than mine. We are happy with them.

My home computer is a year old- I love it- It still works just fine and fits my needs- I don’t do a lot on it other than surf the net- surveys, mylot, picture stuff- and my daughter uses it all the time. I’m sure it has way more capabilities that I don’t even use it for. My computer at work is a couple of years old- I need a new one- and I’m in the budget this year! Yahoo!

I got my computer about 3 years ago and it works well still. It was the cheapest pc in the store, but I just needed it for schoolwork because my other one had broken. It serves my needs well and I don't see myself buying a new one anytime soon, although I would like to get a laptop someday for convenience. Lately my monitor has been acting up so I may need to replace it, even though I can't really afford it right now, but you gotta do what you gotta do, I guess.

I use my sisters laptop that she left at my house when we moved in. I think it is a few years old. I want to get a new one because I want my own.It serves my needs checking email and paying around on the net. But its not mine. It doesn't even feel like mine even though I have had it for a few months.

Ours is a dell and it is about 4 yrs old. IT IS JUNK! Im not sure what is wrong with it but it keeps saying unresponsive and keeps freezing up on me. Other than that I love it! I have scanned it for viruses and found nothing. SO I am not sure what the problem is. I would like to get a new one but I dont have the money right now.
