Old shoes

I have a pair of old shoes that are so comfortable. They aren't the best looking pair of shoes I would say. After breaking them in for 5 years, I would have to say they are my favorite. My wife has dropped a couple of hints lately for me to buy another pair. I'm afraid that one day I will search for my favorite pair of work shoes, only to find a new unbroken pair. What are your thoughts?

Old shoes can feel so comfortable. When I buy a new pair, it usually takes a while to break them in and find out if they will be comfortable or not. I usually wear mine until a hole appears and I have to replace them. Even then, I keep them for mowing lawn or something like that. Of course, I have a hard time throwing anything away. I hope your good old shoes are still in the closet tomorrow. lol

Yeah, I know that feeling. I do not buy shoes much and what I have I am happy with no matter how old they are.

Try to find a new pair which is as comfortable as the old one. I think you deserve to have a new pair of shoes. If you find a pair better or almost as comfortable as the old, I think you won't look for wearing the old shoes again. God bless!
