Disgusted, disapponted, whatever you want to say

When I signed up, I didn't even know MyLot paid! I thought, 'How absurd, to pay for discussion!' Do Facebook or MySpace pay? I don't belong to either one, because they seemed too oriented towards kids. This site appeared more adult with more mature interaction. Then imagine my surprise when my page said I had earned a whole 2 cents! I guess at this rate, I'll earn $3.65 after a year. I guess if you're in it fir the money, it can be very frustrating.

Please don't feel sad. I don't earn much everyday in Mylot. Just don't give up and try to post as many as you can. Soon you will find your earning will be increasing. Frankly, you can't expect to earn a lot here. Once I saw someone said gainning $1 in a day. We are already so surprised to it. I have never gained so much in a day here:)

Well, as a member of the myLot community who has been around here a while, this is the Slowest I have seen my Earnings go up also this month, and I am not sure what to think. I know that last month this site did pay a lot more, and something really is going on here to where the regulars like me are not posting on here quite like we used too. I have not really personally earned much of anything on this site so far this month, so I have not been that active. I wonder what is going on, and is myLot dying as a whole? Or did they do the Contests and now trying to figure out how to pay everyone? I am hoping we have not seen the end of the decent pay with this site. I did make over $200 so far though since last October with this site, so it is Fun while it lasted.

Well MyLot are not gold diggers, they are not money machines, you basically get what you do and if you're not happy take it or leave it. They pay nearly one hundred thousand people and its a mystery how they pay. Maybe your posts were quantity not quality? For me they pay 2 days after I post. So I post on Wednesday I get the money on Friday, and my earnings on Thursday would be from the posting on Tuesday, so maybe wait another day?

Yup I know how you feel, and I have kind of slackened off too. I am just responding as opposed to posting. I can't seem to stay away though because I enjoy posting to my friends discussions. Chin up my friend, lets hope it will increase again. I think maybe its because there are a lot more people on mylot now or maybe not!

hi! if all your hard work was done yesterday, then perhaps you will see your earnings for that later at the update. as efforts of the day are only credited the next day when earnings are updated. cheer up! don't be too discouraged. :) as we don't really know how earnings are processed for every post we make, we'll just keep doing quality posts and enjoy it. :) i haven't started a discussion in a while. these days, i respond to a few discussions and possibly earn a few cents. there was only one time that i earned more than two dollars on my posts... but that's making fifty posts in that day. on a few occassions i earned more than or close to a dollar a day by making more than twenty posts that day. but due to busy schedules, i can only make one to five posts at the maximum when i log in to mylot.

i didn't get paid a lot as well from here... and i realise that it had been decreasing lately... but i don't mind as i am here for the fun and joy of it, rather than the money... i am happy enough that there is actually a forum that pays us for our contributions... so i just treat the money as a bonus and i am quite grateful with whatever money i get...

Here and one week I don't post much too.I saw the earnings from posts and uploading photos go down so much.I used to earn more than 1 cents per photo and 2-3 cents per post ,but now....... Happened before at mylot too ,I hope the things will change soon and will coma back at normal. I'm glad see you don't live mylot.Stay here and wait hopping for the better ....like me.

I don't know how much or many posts you make a day, but I just want you to know that it's not just you who's feeling like this. I've been having a hard time trying to regain my usual number of postings here, 30 per day atleast. I also used to earn at around a dollar a day. But I don't worry much about it, because I've been seeing rubbish postings here and that I avoid all of them. I try to look more "quality" postings, so my earnings won't get affected if mylot performs "discussion clean-ups." But I still get some decrease on my postings, but my ratings are still the same. Though I receive less for the meantime, I know that sooner or later, it'll get back to it's normal count. I've been here on mylot for a long time, 7 months atleast, this happens every now and then. Just relax and enjoy posting, just ignore the earnings for the moment..

I am also feeling quite depressed at the apparent slow down in earnings. I feel quite fed up at the moment, and although I stay here and participate in discussions and post my own too, I have noticed that we are paid less and less.

Dear minijumbuk It's happening with all of us I guess .. even my earning is so less here :( .. Earlier it was not like this on mylot .. but the main thing which is bad -- we are posting so many discussions and responding to so many discussions, posting pictures but not getting what we really deserve .. so my question is why is this happening ?? It should not be like this. We should be paid for our quality work .. I know this from the very day I joined mylot that mylot pays for quality posts and if a post is quality post then why earning is so less ?? I am really disappointed with the earnings but still I will remain here till the end because I am very much addicted to mylot and can't think of leaving this site.. Happy mylotting my dear friend

You must always have faith. Once my wife and i was in a casino and our luck was rotten and we were about to walk out the door and i saw a dollar on the floor..no one was around and i told my wife what the heck..so i put the dollar in quarter slots..max bet and I got jackpot..we played one more time after we were paid and got back to bak jackpots..so don't give up on your dream..we took the money home with us and it paid for our vacation but we did not give it back to the casino..so have faith..your jackpot is waiting..even the big oak tree came from a little nut! even a blind squirell get a nut now and then...?

I don't think this could be looked at as a place to actually earn any real money. You really have to be here because you enjoy the company. the compensation is just a small added bonus. There are many similar communities that don't pay anything at all for your participation. We all have choices here. No one is forcing anyone to be here. If you are posting simply to earn a half of a penny it will show in the quality of your posts.

I too felt the same way once but now i dont think so... mylot is not a job or some thing where we can earn millions....but rather just a site where we can share our thoughts and we get paid as a bonus...

i know how you must be feeling. because i too have felt that many a times. but you still ave a reason to be here as it is great fun to be here in my lot . i too am here just for the shake of it.

Ok so basically you have done mostly everything but posting a topic. now that you have, let's see if you receive more. I've done all that and no I never got paid that low, but then again you didn't specifiy how many responses, how many images you posted before posting this topic. Keep posting, things might work the better for you.

First off who are you to say this site is poor paying? For one it is free to sign up! It's a choice whether you want to post or you don't! If it bothers you so much that it pays small then leave! For how many people have joined this site, still people are getting paid! This site isn't some corporate office where you get paid per hour! Get a paid per hour job for that then! About a few months ago MyLot did pay a little more, but now they have decreased! What matters is be grateful and good thing about this site is that it is not a scam like some other paid survey sites are!

I know! I wish they would just set a standard on how much we get paid per post or at least per image upload. I feel like I spend three hours just to get paid 10 cents! That's about 3 cents an hour!

You are not by yourself, I see more and more discussions about this very thing, every time I turn around. I too am not happy about the earnings. You could be on Mylot 24/7 and never even earn spending money. It is just pennys a day. It seems the more people that join this site the less we get. I too am spending less time here, it is just not worth the effert.Good luck to you.
