I have 3 jeans, 5 t-shirts, 8 trousers and 21 shirts and I generally mix and match the shirts & trousers and t-shirts & jeans.
I think it gives a better variety through permutation and combination of them.
Do you also mix and match or have a dedicated pair of shirt-trousers and tshirt-jeans.

I have tons of clothes- I have work clothes- dressy business slacks and sweaters, suits, skirts, blouses. I have going out clothes- nice jeans and dress shirts. I have play clothes- jeans and t-shirts, sweat shirts. And I have cleaning clothes- sweats and t’s. I interchange them all the time- No one thing has to go with another- that would be too boring for me-

I generally buy clothes that I can mix and match... but there are a few unique peices that only go with one or a couple things. For instances I have this patterned shirt in bright blues and greens, and I can wear it with jeans or black pants but the shoes are lime green faux-gator and they really don't go with anything else. But they are fun... and it's important to have a few fun peices (they were on clearance for $7 or else I would never have bought them).

I only wear t-shirts and jeans.I like your idea of mixing and matching. It gives you more variety. And as long as you are comfortable and it looks good, it is great.

No wear else in the world could we have a combination statistics and fashion advice discussion.
I had to laugh when I saw this, I am sorry, it is just too cute.
I mix and match, since I am limited in what I have.
BTW Have you figured out how many combinations that you have?

LOL - I honestly have never counted how many I have of each except one time I counted my sweaters (35 at that time but I've cut back). I don't wear trousers very often - if the occasion calls for more than jeans or shorts I wear a dress or skirt.

Dear ranjeetkolarkar, I do not have any fancy as to which way the combination of dress to be. My wife always insist upon me to wear this and that. I do not give much importance to her advise because I wear whatever available on my shelve. My concern is my dress should be neatly washed and pressed. That is sufficient for me. Once I had been a party where I found people were wearing good dress comparing to the dress I was wearing. One of my friends commented me Hi you should wear good dress for party. You earn lot, why do not keep good dress for party. From that day I choose my dress for party otherwise I wear whatever available.

I do, all the time since I am in a similar position, with the number of shirts way outnumbering the number of jeans and trousers. Although some combinations don't go to well, I find that most are a fine mix. It definitely does provide a greater variety and saves you from having to wear the exact same look over and over again.

I also go for permutation and combination of my t'-shirts and jeans. I have more of t'shirts as compared to jeans. Jeans are of very common colors that is black, blue and brown. I can go for different t'shirts with these jeans. It provides variety and better preference of clothing.
I go simlilarly in suits also. I get more than one kurta for a single pajama. This again provides variety and more stuff to wear.

I mix and match my hubby's wardrobes too. I can't rely it to him to match them himself. He is so tasteless in self grooming and I have to watch his every move in wardrobe selection. It is hard but what to do? I just have to face the fact that my husband doesn't have a talent in dressing. Lol...

I don't often wear trousers or general shirts.
I'm meaning a sports top comfort guy but when I do mixing isn't such an issue. I never wear anything that doesn't look okay to me though.

Hello ranjeetkolarkar,
I don't know how many clothes that I have *smile* Being a woman, hope you could understand what I mean (same like your wife) I love to mix and match my clothings. It can save my budget and at the same time, I have a variety of choice to choose *smile* I think it is easier to mix and match your clothings and you don't have to go and buy each time you need a fresh look *smile*

Hi ranjeet, I'm same as you. I mix and match. I try different combinations but not all the possible combinations. I can sense what looks good and what looks bad, all good combinations will be tried out.
If there's something like a yellow shirt and a white pant, i won't go for that combination.
All we need is a dressing sense, it does'nt matter whether we mix up or not.
Have a wonderful day.
