I have been a Lineage 2 addict ever since it hit closed beta. I was playing lineage 1 at the time so I was luck enuff to get an invite to closed beta. I must admit it was a very hard game to stay interested in at first especially in prelude to c1 when you constantly had to fight the adena farmers and the grind was just plain horrible. But they have made alot of changes to the game to help the lvling from 1-52 can be done in about a week if you have good friends to lean on.
I tried world of warcraft and everquest two but neither got to me like playing L2. The graphics are awesome and the PvP and seiges are great.
It takes alot more than the minimum requirements to play the game and truely enjoy it. You need a top pc to get the best out of it in my opinion. I hadnt played on public server for about 3-4 months and this past week they had a free week where you coudl play again and now I am hooked once again.

The only MMORPG I ever played was Guild Wars, and I was tired of it after a while. I love RPGs, but a MMORPG needs to much time and dedication. I only advise to playe them if you are "nerd" enough lol. I'm a little sorry for the 30 € I lost when I bought GW.

My kid played guild wars also he wasnt that impressed with it. Without a doubt mmorpgs are designed to suck the life out of you it takes alot of time to get anywhere unless you are extremely lucky. Which I have been extremely lucky with over enchanting times or I woudlnt be where I am now. The private servers are good for getting to the PvP of the game in minimum time and of course without paying the monthly fees.

I've been playing World of Warcraft for about 3 years now and I have to say it gets better and better everytime. It's so addictive, and it'll keep you immersed with its rich lore and storyline and awesome gameplay.

Wow is lineage 2 really that addictive? I must admit i'm an mmorpg fan but ragnarok and guild wars soon faded from my interest as i felt it just wasted my time and energy without me getting anything from it.
Well i did enjoy the first few months of playing (with ragnarok it took me a year to find it suddenly boring) but it just eventually doesn't interest me anymore.
A friend of mine has been telling me to play lineage 2 but i can't seem to bring myself to do it, i might get disappointed again (that i'd lose interest in a short time).
Anyway, maybe i'll try it one of these days... =)

I've been playing RPG's and MMORPG's since two weeks I got internet :p Which was roughly... 7 - 8 years ago.
I've played games from 2Moons to Zu Online. Most of which I got bored of and deleted.

I think my first mmo was EQOA for the ps2. I played WoW for over 3 years. I've also tried EQ2, Vanguard, LOTRO, AoC and the latest is Darkfall. I just play my roommates account occasionally now, I used to be way addicted to them. I miss WoW sometimes, but if you are into pvp and sandbox games you should check out darkfall.
