Cleaning your house

wow, i never just clean the whole house, each room is probably it's own mess, i usually do 1 room per day, with my 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms living room, kitchen, family room, dining room, it'll take me like 3 days probably! my house is a mess i'm getting ready to call a maid! ♥

It takes me forever. Like weeks, and then by the time I finally get finished it is time to start all over. I wish I could just do it all in one day. But I am so busy and now that I am getting bigger and bigger with this pregnancy things take me a lot longer to do than they used to.

I clean often, so it doesn't take more than an hour or so. But, you sound like you had such a nice time cleaning, why don't you come here and enjoy cleaning mine too Terry? :)

Wow, I came home from work really tired and I think your post topped me off! LOL! I never have the time to do the whole house at one time anymore. I/m doing good to keep it presentable and laundry done!

More than a day, maybe two if I really do a good job LOL The lounge and kitchen and one bathroom seem to get cleaned most of the time. I usually do the rooms when I have some energy and when the other main rooms don't need cleaning. I hope to move into a one bedroom, one bathroom with a den next year - two bed/rms, two bathrooms, lounge, kitchen and dining area, too much work for me haha!

It would take me more then half day to clean up my whole house.My house is not really that big but because i like to go through the small little detail while doing the cleaning that's why it takes me such a long hour to finish it. The longest time i spend would be my computer room,because my husband like to keep the junk mail ,magazine here and there ,bill and file every where.I have to go through one by one and arrange it properly. I hate to clean the whole house but once i start it i will keep doing until it's finished. :)

Well Sweetie in my Circumstances it takes me about 4 Days to clean the Flat and I hate it but that is how I have to do it or I will collapse It used to take me 1 Day to clean the House in the past but now I have no chance of that lol

I don't really know.Because of my health issues I do some work,then I have to stop and rest awhile and depending on how I feel as to whether I can get back to it that day or the next.

Yes, it takes me 1/2 a day too. I start with my bedroom, my master bathroom, the kitchen and the living room. My daughter helps me with her bedroom and the other bathroom and does the sweeping and moping. My son cleans his room and takes out the trash, feeds and cleans the cat.

Cleaning the house is a happy occasion especially if you're in the mood. Just this afternoon, I committed to clean my room, then changed my son't curtains in his room. Tomorrown, I'll clean the garage and to rid of it of unnecessary things...I can't clean the entire house in one setting, so I do it in installment. These days, I am no longer young so I tire easily. In between mylotting, I do Soduko, a numbers game to relax me for a while. When I am in the mood, I'd probably resume cleaning our house...It's good that we have a household help who does the cleaning everyday. All I do is my own room and my son's room. But I do dust the furnitures of the entire house every morning as part of my exercise...

It would take one full day for me to clean my house.I love cleaning my house .It would be good if everything is in place and perfect.

My house needs a good cleaning, and decluttering. So it would probably take a week to get it the way I want it. lol And then an hour a day to keep it that way, probably. But seriously, I have still have clothes from 10 years ago that I need to get rid of. lol

It would probably take 1/2 a day for me to clean the house..Our third bedroom is used as the computer room...

Well i have a 1 bedroom apartment and well for some reason it takes me about 2 days or depending on how motivated i am it can take me 1 whole day. I dont know why it takes me so long. I guess i start to find treasure and think ummm i havent seen this in a long time. then i either sit and play or read through what ever treasure i find. Then there are the times where everything is just outside of its rightful place and well, ya know when you see the cup. You pick the cup up heading to the kitchen but see the towel on the floor so you pick the towel up head into the bathroom to put it in the hamper. Then you put the cup on the sink in the bathroom and notice that there are somem clothers in there that need to be put away. And so leaving the cup there you head into the bedroom to hang up the clothers from the bathroom. Then remembering you forgot to put the cup in the kitchen you look at the floor only to notice that not only do i have to vaccumm the floor but wash it so i head into the kitchen, forgeting the cup in the bathroom totally to vaccumm the floor. The while taking a pee break i notice the cup and well i take that into the kitchen to see dishes in the sink. Now no floor washing is gonna get done cuz now i setting my eyes on the dirty dishes. While cleaning these dirty dishes it dawns on me..... Umm i dont live alone, what the heck is he gonna clean?

wow that is cool did you downsize? Because we did and it is so much easier to keep my house clean and easy to just clean a room that takes me only like 30 minutes when it use to take me an hour or so to do just one room... I also do not have 4 bathrooms, although Laundry is still the same, but I will say that I do like the fact that we are living more simply. now it is a matter of getting all our stuff out of the house, we moved from a 3200 sq foot home, 4 bed 4 bath, to a 1900 sq foot home, 3 bedroom 1.5 bath. Sometimes I think maybe it is too small but really it is not...we will finish the basement soon too and maybe put a bedroom down there so we will just see how it all goes. But I love that it is easier to clean , just got to keep downsizing things.

Well if I am doing a full blown top to bottom intense cleaning it would take me a full day plus maybe 1/2 of the next day..but thats like I said a FULL BLOWN hardcore cleaning and this is a fair sized house...otherwise though, it takes a couple hours to clean and thats it..

I would say it would take me four hours to clean my apartment. Well, the last time I did it, it took me four hours. I just have a bathroom, a bedroom, a kitchen, and a small small hallway. I have two closets also, but I usually already have them in order. Come to think of it, the closet in the living room could use some organization. Oh no, now it is is my head, and I won't forget about it until I do it...

I stay in a two and half room flat. It takes couple of hours to clean. Cleaning everydays for an hour or so is must. This makes easier when i like to do any major cleaning in a month or two.

Hi Terry! Wow, good for you that you were able to clean your house. Yeah, it feels good when your house is clean and cozy. Well, my mum and I also cleaned our house yesterday. I do some of the work while she do the rest. It took us half day to do all the cleaning considering that we are two cleaning the house. And one of the thing that we cleaned is my room, we have removed some the things that we are not using already and rearranged my room and now I am loving it.

We have just had a huge clean up over the last month as we are moving house in about 2 weeks and it has been lovely to be able to just wizz through the house in a couple of hours and be able to get the whole lot done, it used to take me half a day but now I just do a little bit every day and it is alot easier, once a week or so I give everything a good going over and I make sure all the floors are nice and clean and the bath room and toilet are nice and clean too.... I am so glad we got rid of all of the clutter!
