i think my eyes are failing me already. it's too strained at the end of the day that i can't see clearly from afar. i'm picking between buying a pair of glasses or a pair of contacts. contacts need continuous maintenance, you have to clean it with the solution provided and you have to make sure to remove them. it's also something putting it on. glasses are so easy to just slip on however may be a bit of a hassle while on top of your nose. if you were to choose would you buy a pair of contacts? or glasses?

I use both and I feel comfortable with both. I hear that people are more comfortable with glasses and have some problems when they use lenses but I did not face such kind of problem till now. In fact I use leses most of the time. I had problem with lenses once and that was when I wore it in the night. I was traveling somewhere and could not take it off and my eyes were red the next day but it got better when I washed my face. I wear glasses also and I don't have any problems with it. Both are comfortable for me.

I would get contacts. I don't even really like wearing sunglasses that much so I know I wouldn't like wearing glasses all the time. I just think contacts are so much easier. I know you have to clean them and everything like that but I just like them better.

I'm a glasses person. I've been nearsighted all my life and I can't be bothered to fuss with contact lenses. After a while, you get to where you don't know the glasses are even there.

Uhmm... Why not try having both? hehehe... If you are on a tight budget, well, that would be quite difficult to choose which is which... From my experience as a spectacle user for over a decade, uhmm... i dont have big problems using spectacles for its easier to wear at than using contact lenses. Well, one hassle is that when your kissing somebody, its kinda annoying if you are wearing your glasses on with the person you are kissing at. hehehe. Anyway, there are lots of stylish frames to choose, from a tiny frame to a bigger fashionable frame. It usually depends if you would look cool or better with the type or style of frame you choose from. Usually when you go to an optical clinic you have a vast of time to choose which type or style of glasses/spectacles you would buy at. One thing that is odd about is that you cant wear your sunglasses when you are wearing spectacles. hehehe. There is that type of glasses where it has a duo-purpose, it can be a sunglasses at the same time but the cost is way too expensive than the conventional type of spectacles and that's the benefit of the contact lenses would come into picture. For starters in using contact lenses, i remember one time that it almost took me an hour in putting one contact lenses onto my eye. and to sum it up, it would go about around almost two hours, what a waste of time! hehehe... Well, those are the first stages, but when you get used to it, it would just take minutes of your precious time around 3 minutes. One hassle in wearing contact lenses is when you are about to sleep and you get so tired and lazy to remove your contacts from your eyes, so what usually happens, you would actually sleep on it. tsk tsk tsk. It really is a bad habit and i have done it a lot of times. hehehe. it's not a good practice for when the contacts gets dry the tendency is a lot of chance in getting yourself blind! Coz once your eyes gets scarred on your iris portion a part of your vision turns black, that's what others have experienced on scarred iris. Scary but true. Anyway, its not that so bad when you are just being safe conscious, like you should always bring your contacts solution whenever you go whether at sleep or at school. The idea is when you felt that your eyes gets dry, use the eyedrops so that the contacts wont hardened. And if i were to choose, that is its best to have both. Well, its tiring to use contacts inside your house, right? Its preferable to use glasses at home if you are an avid contact lenses user. :) but on a tight budget, its best to choose a pair of glasses, try choosing the fashionable type of frame, so that you wont look so nerdy with that type of frame. and nerdy type of person, they are more attributed on the personality itself on how the way they go around with people and with his/her surroundings. So, choose a pair of glasses as a good start. :)

I have both. Sometimes, my eyes gets too dry for contact lenses to be put on. Wearing glasses also allow your eyes to breathe better so I would definitely recommend both so you can have a choice whenever you want to wear them. :-)

The thought of sticking those little things into my eyes fills me with horror! I could never do that, fiddle around with my eyes, and if I dropped one, I would be on my knees searching for eternity, and having to take them out each night and putting them back in, too much hassle, I much rather wear glasses, may cost more in the long run but I'll take glasses anyday!

I prefer wearing contact lenses as I think I look better and I do not have to keep pushing up my glasses every now and then when it slips now my nose. I used to wear them everyday but after hearing so many stories, I now wear them alternate days so as to give my eyes some 'breathing space'.

You should go to doctor to check your eye sight. The eye specialist will check your eye sight and he or she will suggest for suitable number of glasses for your eye. If you want to fix some contact lenses then you will face the eye operation. It will cost many more than the glasses. Contact lenses are good result giving, but it is an expensive medical process. so I will like to choose the glasses, which are not expensive than contact lenses and are easy to replace them.
