Do you accept failure as defeat?

i don't accept failure as defeat, infact i think that failure is the thing which motivates me to do that again.

Agree with you ssh. If only people think like that, I would imagine the word will filled with self motivated people who will stand up against all the hassles and burdens they took and fight for their way to success. I define failure as delayed enjoyment. It's just a matter of time until you have overcome your failure and come out as a winner. Through it all, you'll say outloud : "It's an enjoyable winning as I have through the Valley of Failure and I never backed down, never give up until the last hope I have. Through all of it, I became a winner, not only because of my ability and strength, but also my endurance and persistence." Wow.... :) GREAT DISCUSSION!

I believe in this words " failures are pillars of success" I had some failures which made me realise the right path to find sucess.Offcourse i repent when i face failures and consider its due to the mistake committed by me or others.But i always believe time has the power to heal anything and hence i can overcome failures and defintely shine in life. Mistakes are embrassing when they happen, but years later we have a collection of mistakes called experiance which leads us to live better.

Like the saying goes, "Failure is the mother of success." Without failure, you will never know the sweetness of being successful. Therefore it is a motivation for me to step forward toward success.

I take the failures like something I should learn from.I mean if I would take it like a defeat what it would give me?Nothing.It's easy to give up, but there is not solution.We have to be sometimes hard as rock and move on.

one is depressed when he is failed but life goes on . One has to accept failures as they form part of life as one is not good at everything he does. But we do learn from failures and later these failures become the path through success.

It all depends. Some failures are a stepping stone, while other failures means you have been defeated. For instance if your ways to an education are limited and if you fail to pass an exam, that means a low paying job and not going to a university and you do not have the money to pay for tuition, that means you will have to accept defeat. However if you can work your way up and there are opportunities other than a scholarship, and the company will pay for your education, that failure of not passing an exam means you have to go another way. It all depends on whether there is another way so that you get this stepping stone to success.

No we should not accepyt failure as defeat indeed we need to learn something from our failures.But digesting a failure is difficult ut we an acheive dis vth PATIENCE

I do not accept failure as defeat. Winston Churchill said "success is not final, failure is not fatal. it's the courage to continue that counts" I think that says it all.

Hi ssh123! I agree with you completely. Failures are just hurdles to overcome...it will build your character somehow. Isn't it, great minds like Thomas Edison didn't just failed once but a hundred times...because of him we have now lights. yeah,I also accept that failures are a stepping stone for success .When I failed ,I will take a lesson from it and remind me not making the same mistake again.I think failures dont fearful if we face them directly.
