The entire trick lies on timing and foot placement
first place your back foot on the centre tip of the tail, your front foot should be in the centre of your board with your toes lining up with the rail of your board....bend your knees slightly and have your back foot pop the tail of your board, a slight moment later, roll your front foot, slide towards the nose of your board and both legs pull up to your chest, as you reach the apec of the trick, bend your both legs at the same time, and both feet should be over the bolts as your reach the ground, followed through by bending your knees absorbing the impact....
It's good to practice this trick stationary, on grass or carpet. To improve the height of your ollie, it's good to practice while moving.

I think you just come out and do it the best you can. Good luck and don't forget to just relax and enjoy yourself.

The ollie is one of the simplest of the tricks and should be learned first. To do so, take your back foot and place it on the end of the tail. Then place your front foot and put it in about the middle of the board. Here's the actual ollie part. Slam down on the tail and at the same time, slide your front foot up to the nose of the board. When you pop, also jump as high as you can. This will take some practice but you will get the hang of it.
