Which one would get your vote is it food with good looking or is it food with great taste. Some people say that "You eat with your eyes?". Some people like me says "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder".
I will choose the food with good looking. I can't eat it if it seems too bad, especially for those terrible looking. Some people say that snake it very delicious ,but I can't eat it. I am afraid of snake.

As for foods, external appearance should never be the main criteria in selecting what to eat or not to eat. In today's world, we must always be careful of what we eat. It is much better to really know what is the food made up before deciding whether it's good or bad. Sad to say that a lot of people are reallying on internal appearance or even just taste, in selecting foods. Remember, our food supplies are already laden with so much chemicals. We must always be careful. never trust what you saw, eyes can always be deceive into accepting things as they are presented. We must ask questions and really know the real internal story before getting foods into our mouths. We must not be children anymore.

hello wonderful1,
who doesn't like tasty foods? and who doesn't like presentable and attractive food either? so both are needed for a person to select as his food to eat.
early men ate raw foods.they didn't know how to cook or how to make it tasty or presentable.but now we know all these things.why? because we need it.people prefer eating neat food.
first thing is when we decide what to eat,we eat it and then we can know if its tasty or not.otherwise how can we say about its tastyness? and for choosing a food nobody will get that looks nasty.everybody will prefer some attractive dishes that will make them salivate.isn't it?
and why do we garnish our food then? with coriander, lettuce, onion rings, tomato etc, etc.they make a dish look more presentable and attractive that doubles the taste and the eagerness of a person to eat it.
i would say if we are looking at a tasty dish which is not that attractive or doesn't have any aroma, but still its tasty, can we eat it?something in our pshycology says that no it won't taste good and thats what will decrease its taste.
no matter beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, but it has to be presentable if not beautiful for a person to go for the dish.
obviously i prefer tasty foods but i would say that beauty doubles the taste of a dish.

It's hard to say that. If I know what the thing is and I don't like it, I will not eat it, however its taste good. But if I don't know, and the taste is very good, I think I will eat. Many people will do like me.
There is a saying: eating it, without knowing it. If we don't know what it is, and just taste it, maybe it does more help.
hehehe

Taste matters in whether or not the second bite is taken. However, if it does not look or smell good I won't even try it. If the chef puts care into how the meal looks, then he or she probably put care into how it tastes.

I would have to vote for food that has a great taste. I really don't go all out for the looks but if it looks good and tastes bad then I won't eat it. I would never eat snake either. they scare me too and they look nasty. I could never eat turtle either.

No, in my opinion taste is something different with sight: I have tasted once some sweets which looked great, but they all had exactly the same taste of sesame and cane sugar...
I think that I could eat really everything at the only condition it tastes good.
I could eat also in a dark room, if I were not afraid for my fingers (LOL).
I prefer foods prepared in such a way that I can't recognize the animal or vegetable origins of it: I feel very embarrassed when I can recognize the precedent owner of that part...
So, about snakes, insects, spiders, scorpions, frogs, and so on I say: if they are properly cooked and under the disguise of the appropriate sauce I could eat them all, if they taste fine...
Of course the first condition is that I WANT to know what is it! I don't like at all anthropophages.
bye myLot friend

When I am eating out... I wanna satisfy all my senses to really say that it is a good food. the food should not only taste good but with a good presentation. i like that japanese style that they will cook your food in front of you. You can actually see it, hear it then it eat. I sometimes do touch it. How it feels in my finger. You can actually smell a good and delicious food. when i smell it, I know when it is delicious or not through smell alone. That is how I eat, Satisfy all my senses. If a restaurant can satisfy all my senses when I eat out, then that resto is very good.
