What do you think? Obviously, besides 2 Live Crew.

Well I am probaly going to date myself somewhat here...because some of my favorites are probably 'mouldy-oldies' to the younger crowd. I love Enigma too...but then I also like Al Greene, and the fellow with the big, deep, sensual voice...Barry White. He passed away a few years ago..but if you listen to the way he says in a breathy...barritone voice.."Take it off...take it all off...I think you get the gist. If you haven't heard him...try downloading it and let me know what you think!

I would have to say, wooitsmolly, that I would choose either, Luther Vandross, Gerald Levert, or Barry White. They are the best at what they did.

There's a group called "Enigma." They are a studio group, new age sound, but difficult to catagorize. The music contains fantastic beats, gregorian chants and seductive breathing. It is eerily seductive. My husband calls it phuck music. Led Zepplin's "Cashmir" is another good one.

Hah...I am an Enigma fan too...from what I am seeing here there are a number of new venues to consider adding their mystical music to...thanks for the suggestions!

Portishead is a very good choice, it's very smooth sounding and the lead singer has an amazing voice. I also like a band called VAST, though if you put their first CD (also called VAST) on, you have to time it just right for it to work out most appropriately. :)

I prefer to listen to Bad Company's "Feel like makin love" and "Ready for love", Led Zeppelin's "All my love" also the Allman Brothers Band "Whipping Post", Kiss's "Hotter than hell" and followed by Areosmith's "Pink". If I need more time I like to put the songs on replay. Peace, Totty

I really depends on what mood I'm in. Even load rock music or love music.

"Lady Blue" by Leon Russell is a good one. I also like Norah Jones music.

Al Green is super romantic and Van Morrison is too. But this is before your time of that I am sure.

Anything load enough to drown out my wife's screaming. Preferably something with a heavy bass beat to mask the sound of the headboard smashing against the wall.

Any good smooth r&b song. There is a lot of song that I listen that really get me in the mood. But one of my favorite most be Last night from the group Az Yet Here is the chorus Last night I was inside of you Last night While making love to you I saw the sun , the moon The mountains and the rivers I saw heaven when I made sweet love to you

I expect that you could get up a really good rhythm to "Ride of the Valkyries" :)

With out a doubt "John Coletrain". Of course you can't be depressed or drunk. But who wants to make love to a depressed drunk right?

Well your question specified "make love" and for that I agree with many who have already responded. Engima, Barry White, Marvin Gaye, Madonna, Chris Isaak (wicked game) are all nice paced, sexy songs for gentle, sweet love making. But for a more wild & crazy night, Nine Inch Nails, old rock, and older (& dirtier) Prince, is the way to go.

My gosh I can't remember the last time I played music while making love. My man like country music and I prefer hard rock and reggae. I love Bob Marley's Good Lovin' but he would rather Shania Twain's You're Still The One. But my first time ever doing "it" AC/DC's You Shock Me All Night Long was playing. Yup about 4 minutes and totally classy... LOL Vicki
