My 3yrs old got hurt on his forehead just 2days back,he got injured with the sharp end of wooden stairkays and the outer layer was peeled very deeply,we are applying an ointment it is curing very slowly,but iam afraid of the scar and is it compulsory to take T.T injection ? Any quick healing methods or home remedies that which even cure the scar.

Yes we do visited doctor and he gave an ointment and antibiotis but stii iam afraid of the scar and how he will treat bit as it is on his face and it is not so that injury you are thinking about. Thank you for your message.

Depending on how the open wound looks, he might to have stitches to close it. If your worried about the scar it will be worse if he doesn't get stitches. A physician should examine him. He is only 3, he might not be able to fully express how he is feeling.

Its not so deep that stiches are not needed but it is quite top of his right eyebrow and doctor suggested to apply an ointment and he gave course of antibiotic for 5days thats it,anyway thanks for the response.

Well, I am so sorry to hear that and I hope you have found something to do by now. Sorry I don't have any home remedies to share. But, good luck with that and I hope your little one is doing just fine now.
