I prefer typing probably because I have very bad handwriting. and you can always type faster than writing.

Most of the time I will type because writing is so slow. So if anyone has my handwriting letters, they should keep them well because they are so precious:)

I would prefer typing now because my handwriting has become just a scratch. Sometimes, I always write manually in a hurry that even I cannot understand what I have written:P So, I would rather type than hand-write.

i prefer typing. When doing reports, i do not make draft then type the draft. I can work better doing directly on the computer

I am comfortable with both. Whatever is available. Although i am sometimes lazy, when it comes to expressing my ideas any way may do..

My hand writing in terrible so I type most letters or what ever. I can type over eighty words a minute so it is very quick and easy to type up a letter for me. I use online chat sites to help increase my speed and reduce my error rate. My computer has a spell check button as well as a grammer check. I use both features when I am writing something important. If I am just writing to a friend, I just type and don't worry about the spelling errors that accure while I am typing fast. There are times when my brain thinks faster than my fingers type and I have errors but my brain seems to know this and I go back and fix them. I don't think typing instead of hand writing makes you lazy maybe a little smarter than others.

I am comfortable in both. I can write neatly and at a speed, if need be and I can type easily. I agree with you, it is better and easier to type, then to write.

I prefer typing too. Even when I want to write a letter or adress labels, I type it out and print them.

I prefer typing because it is several times faster than my writing. I can also look away while I'm typing. :)

actually I prefer to type because I always lose the papers where I write so I think it is better in a file.

it depends. if you want to be fast, then i'll write. if you got time and need to present it in a nice way, then i'll type it.

i don't think it makes you particularly lazy if you prefer to type. My handwriting has deteriorated over the years because I type so much as it's part of my job. At least if something is typed out then it's legible.

When I was at university I used to write all assignments if I could get away with not typing them. This held good stead for exam time when write incredibly quickly. Students that typed all their assignments were slower at writing in exams. It wasn't until began teaching that I began to use computers to type things. These days I have to say I enjoy typing more than writing. Maybe this is because it looks neater. I still like to write my own notes though.

Yeah typing is always easier than writing. I also feel lazy to write. But in meetings, colleges i cant refuse to write beacause its the only way. So i have to sometimes write even if i dont want to. I prefer typing than writing.

I prefer writing because in writing you can write more faster as compared to type. I don't think that you are crazy if you prefer typing over writing.
