do you want a new dragon ball series?

It would be nice but sometimes the best thing to do is not over do a series at all and have people make comments about how it should have been done when it was going well to not have its memory tarnished. I'm not sure if they could do another series after GT to tell you the honest truth. I mean, it would be very hard to do so.

Originally there was never supposed to be anything after Dragon Ball Z, but the series was so popular that the production company began GT, and I don't think Toriyama was even involved in the story of GT. So... since creating a new series after the story of the original manga was already finished was a step too far to begin with, creating ANOTHER series would be even worse. I think there is enough Dragon Ball in existence and making more would probably ruin a classic anime legacy. I think it's hard for fans to accept SSJ 5 doesn't exist and never is going to exist.

dragon ball shouldnt be made anymore. what could they do with it? make another all powerful enemy come from some unknown planet, and the saiyans become ssj 5? i found gt disappointingly hard to swallow, expecially ssj 4 (even if toriyama wasnt involved). even when the series was at its peak, i thought that it was getting really repeatitive. another one will just ruin it.. even more so than gt

I think Toriyama has already been forced to continue the series a lot longer than he wanted to. I don't think he would want to continue with Dragon Ball even longer, no matter how popular it is.

I miss dragon ball alot but everithing has a end. I think dragon left with a good empretition: the one that the series has a possible continuation. But that also put alot of rumors in the strets and forums. The rumors consisted on a dragon ball AF(After Future) that would continue the last episode of dragon ball GT. All rumors nad nothing is true. I think dragon ball will never continue.

Haha man, i *nearly* cried at the end of DBGT. Not cause it was sad, but cause a great force was finally coming to an end. But i think that it gave a better sense of closure than ending it at the cell saga would have. Cause with that, goku wasnt jsut in the other world, he left indefinitely. My opinion is that there should not be a continuation, as cool as SSJ5 would look =]

I admit the idea is intriguing but the question is who could be the big villains to challenge him exactly? Only thing I could honestly think of is Demi-Gods or something like that. I think GT had some closure at the end pretty much saying it's over. Could it happen? I suppose it could and would it be interesting? Probably. I probably would watch for curiousity reasons.

well.. the classic anime would lose its finace... gt was a failure do take that into account... but one of the best anime...i'll give you that

Nope no more for me , i was done after GT plus i saw all of those episodes over the summer of "03" in 2 weeks thanks to Super5.com and limewire but to get the point DB, DBZ , and even Sadly GT were good series and sagas and it should never be brought back , it should be lied to rest ...the series was serious back in the day with DBZ and DB but no more , maybe 50 years down the line they'll make 1 more episode just for kicks and no one fights ..like something peaceful lol

well to me the manga ended well, and so did dragonball gt and you should be happy it ended with such awesomeness sad it ended though :(

I definitely would love to see a new DBZ series, but I also think that all good things must come to an end. If we get another one and someone, probably Goku breaks past the ssj5 barrier what's next. we'll just want to see 6 and seven and so on. I think that that would eventually just degrade the value of the orignal ssj transformation.

I think thats pushing it a little too far. Too much power makes things unbelievable/unrealistic. I think that the original Dragon Ball Z series could have been continued well, but not to the extent of Super Saiyan 5 ... or even 4 (although I liked 4's look)
