wishes

I've never had a wish come true but I have cursed someone and that came true. The guy who rents the field next to us was giving my kids a hard time because they were collecting bugs from the puddles on the field. He hadn't grown anything, hadn't put up a fence, nothing, he was just a drunk mean spirited old man. I was heavily pregnant and not in a good mood. This guy was screaming at my kids, so I went out, as did my husband. We told him that the kids just wanted to collect the pond skaters but he was so drunk he couldn't be reasoned with. So I said that I hope you never grow anything on that land. And he never has. The few trees he had growing were blown down by a typhoon and every year he tries to grow some crops but they never come to anything. Sometimes I feel bad but after talking to neighbours who know this area I don't feel to bad. The field was a rice field before and was never drained properly so growing anything other than rice is difficult!! Now if my wishs would come true, I would be living in a nice house with enough money to go round and some to spare.

I have made wishes on a star, raised my feet while driving over a railroad track, blew out the candles on my birthday cake, even the folded chips you chew 10 times and swallow. I think it is fun to do witht he kids and we don't take it real seriously. I do believe in karma and you get what you give. So if I was wishing for something that really wasn't good then bad things would come my way. Vicki

It is not that I am superstituous. I tend to agree with you that whatever bad thing you wish will not happen are sure to happen most of the times. Until today, I do not know why. I guess it is because of the stronger negative energy and when one thinks negatively, more negative energy is affirmed. Someone ever said 'The mind attracts whatever you think'.... Perhaps this is an acceptable explanation for me though I do not fully agree with it. I think about getting rich, but I still don't get rich. lol.
